I watched it all on Saturday. All the fights were pretty damn blah. I was glad to see Hendricks win since i feel gsp lost the last fight. I was disappointed with the Sanchez fight as he my 2nd favourite fighter to watch. Always ends bloody and in a fist fight. I enjoyed rogans commentary all night but the crowd seemed super non pumped up Posted via RS Mobile |
am i crazy for not being impressed with woodley's performance? |

awesome time in the WW division. theres 5 guys who are all right there in the title shot and it looks like it could hopefully change hands a few times. Lawlerx2, Rory, Woodley, are all within 1 fight of a title shot Condit, Lombard with in 2 Matt Brown and Kim Long Dong are right there too Nick Diaz Im sure could self-promote his way back into the picture and if GSP comes back.. :ahwow: |
the way his knee gave out...something had to be torn :( bummer.....goodbye to my Condit 2014 champ dreams Posted via RS Mobile |
Exciting times for sure. Condit will have to wait a while :\ out of all those guys I'd love to see Matt Brown make a run. I bet GSP comes back straight to do a fight with Anderson when he's ready. We'll have to wait and see but how awesome would that be? |

Melvin Guillard released by the UFC Ariel Helwani reports that Melvin Guilard, 'The Young Assassin' was released from the UFC Thursday night, according to his manager Malki Kawa: Melvin Guillard's almost nine-year UFC run has come to an end. "The Young Assassin" was released from the UFC Thursday night, according to his manager Malki Kawa. The decision comes after the 30-year-old lost a unanimous decision to Michael Johnson at UFC Fight Night 38 in London earlier this month. Kawa said Guillard, who wasn't available for comment, is handling the news well and eager to move forward. "We're working to get him signed somewhere else," he said. "I'm going to do what's best for Melvin." Kawa wouldn't disclose any potential landing spots for Guillard at this time. |
Melvin is a prime candidate for WSOF where they will put him in fights against no name guys and hopefully have him crush them. Hes a fun fighter to watch when he bangs. He wouldn't make it in Bellator Cant believe hes been in the UFC for 9 fucking years tho. wow |
He was running away the whole fight against Johnson so no surprise.. not the aggressive guy he used to be |
That was perhaps the worst fight we've seen from Melvin. I think Johnson being a former teammate played with his head a little bit. That being said it wasnt like he had a string of bad fights, he usually is exciting and goes for the knockout. Isnt that what the UFC brass loves the most? He's been in the UFC 9 years, granted there were some major ups and downs, but thats a long time. I thought since hes been around that long and how exciting he CAN be, the UFC would have given him another shot at it. But i guess thats been the story with Melvin his whole career, you see flashes of greatness, like he can be champion, then completely invisible. His previous NC fight with Ross Pearson was unfortunate, but again, the guy was going for the finish. I think he'll string a few KO's together in another promotion and have a final go in the UFC. |

Sooo, is this the last fight Hendo got to use TRT then? If so it's kind of a retirement win for him lol |

UFC trying to put Rory vs Woodley for ufc 174 in Vancouver... that would be a good fight and would be a tough one for Rory. |
