agreed. I've just been to lazy to dust of the press and press some out. I have enough to load a few K rounds but just no motivation.

I want to start reloading, I am going to start piecing together my equipment soon enough. You want to unload that dusty old gear? ;)

i'm gonna keep them for when the day comes where ammo is no longer readily available. What calibers are you planning on loading? Let me know if you need any help building a kit or where the cheapest reloading components are, I have a local supplier that is awsome. Could be a one stop shop for both reloading hardware and components.

My brother started reloading 9mm and 5.56 recently. 5.56 is a bitch because the NATO rounds have crimped primer caps. You need to work those by hand before reloading. But the cost and ability to Frankenstein some ammo is well worth it. 9mm cost is about 30% less than S&B store bought, while the 5.56 stuff is about 20% less than the cost of a good Chinese ammo crate price.

He has his press set up so when he gets home from work, he'll reload 100 rounds. He finds it therapeutic after a hard day of work and Vancouver traffic.

indeed.. i can pump out about 300-400 rounds of 9mm in an hour with my press. Thats going slow, and being thourgh. I know i had to bevel my primer pocket on all my IVI military brass for my 308. Definately more work that going commercial brass but i do like the extra wall thickness from the IVI brass. I haven't loaded any 223 yet but my 9mm press also is capable of reload 223/556 so at least that saves a bit instead of having to get a new one or do it on my single stage i use for my 308/8mm

edit* Nevermind, Marstar got 10 pounds for $100! sweet

anyone order from them? whats the turn around time

CanadaAmmo - located in North Van but only ships. Orders over $200 are free shipping, so grab some cheap slugs or Buckshot as well. Anyways, they have 12 one pound charges of Gryphon Energetics (which has a better bang than Tannerite) for $108. Tannerite locally is selling for around $109 for 10 one pound charges.

http://www.canadaammo.com/product/de...rget-variation

Italian is selling Tannerite for around $109 (I think that's what I last paid, it was $96 the first time).

incubus - thanks for hooking me up again today.

Eternal_SiR 11-25-2014 04:28 PM

CRS: Damn sorry bro.. got my stores mixed up.. the promo is to theammosource not One shot.

Hondaracer: But keep in mind, i bought mine the day it was available for sale to canadians. so may have payed a bit of premium. The ammosource which has the promo on has 20lbs for 169. so might work in your favor if you have to pay for shipping

Enter the code "Friday" during checkout and get 15% off of your order.
This sale is active from Nov 25th at 00:01 am until Dec 2st at 11:00am EST.

From the guy's post on CGN, the dude at Marstar is a little bit crazy. Angry man crazy. Support local, buy from Canadaammo - good guy, quick shipping. They have some crazy cheap deals on some Dominion Arms guns too if you're into those.

he trolls his own threads and gets very condescending to everyone about everything. I find it kinda funny, to be honest. He even has two accounts and plays plausible deniability until he finally confesses it really is him because he'll really lose his cool at someone and he wants to stamp his name to it.

Search Marstar troll on CGN, read some of the locked threads. Here's a good example: Received wrong caliber

CRS 11-25-2014 06:56 PM

Speaking of CGN, I would probably have offered this guy $1000 for the setup he has on his oracle.

CanadianGunNutz.com

He claims to have paid 900 for his oracle but that seems to be way up there in price especially since the gun has been on sale since the beginning of August.

*edit:
Looks like he dropped his price down to 1100 from 1200. Nice. Maybe I'll PM him.

incubus 11-25-2014 06:57 PM

+1 for Canada ammo, there used to be threads on how slow shipping would be but I think they've gotten better.

Some of the people the pre-ordered the first batch imported into Canada really had to pay through the teeth for theirs. Perhaps he was one of them.

incubus 11-25-2014 08:17 PM

I honestly don't like magnifiers, rather have a 1-4.

the ar market is flooded, you can find nice Daniel defense for that price.

wolverine and irunguns kinda pissed in everyone's pool with ar prices.not a bad thing but some people ask too much.

if you're willing to spend more I'd go for a Daniel defense or bcm. next price might as well get a pws noveske or knights

Zedbra 11-25-2014 08:32 PM

Are the Canadian made Motiuks any good? They will be selling their complete rifle for $800 on Black Friday, down from $1500

MRC-15 SBR MOD1 - $1,499.99 : Motiuk Manufacturing, AR-15 Parts and Accessories

Let me know when International is having the sale on DD and I'll buy one from you.

What's the difference between the M4V1 and M4V5?

incubus 11-26-2014 12:12 AM

zedd- I havent heard too much about that brand but i've seen some around on cgn. honestly so many companies are making ars now but around that price point Olympic seems to be one of the better ones or core15/windham

ill show you a Olympic next time.

crs- the barrel, gas length and rail i believe. both are great it'll come down to preference. unfortunately there's no dd in house atm so not too sure about that going on sale.

come pass by soon im not in weds

incubus 11-26-2014 12:28 PM

anyone here own a vz 7.62x39?

i wanna shoot one, kinda wanna go the nr route as much as i love the ar platform would love to have the freedom of shooting and hiking out.
