I have the magpul afg on my T97 and it's a nice addition. I was thinking of adding one to my Remington 870 too. Maybe next month..... |

I actually think it was your T97 that I used as inspiration. :fuckyea: I need a steel target suitable for pistols. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
^ I have a number for a guy out there in Langley that is selling nice thick steel plates for cheap. Been meaning to look into it but have been busy and then sick all week. |
what kinda steel you looking for? standard A36/44W or more into AR500 plate? Thickness? You looking to get it in a specific size and shape or just whatever? I work in a steel fab shop so anything you dream of i can make happen lol. I manage the engineering and CNC division. |

I can get access to AR plate but it's expensive. Supplier has a minimum order as that's typically not used in regular steel shops. I'll think about a design tomorrow. Previous idea was to have the stand take apart to make it easy to transport. I'll also do some research as to what thickness in a36/44w that could handle the magnum rounds that way it'll keep cost down. |

I kind of like this idea. http://gunsumerreports.com/Grizzly_T...so-Base_04.JPG Quote:
I'd take a pic of my targets but my brother still hasn't returned them to me. :suspicious: |
best way to have a hanging target angle downwards is instead of hanging the chain directly to the mounting hole, run a bolt through the front of the plate, put a not on the back of the place, then washer, chain, washer then nut. this will offset the mounting point about 1/2" back throwing of center of gravity and it'll naturally give you a downward cant http://abdullahyahya.net/ebay-images/hanging.png |

just preorderd 5x .50 Beowolf mags from SFRC. Should be shipping sometime in march. Can't wait to use them in my AR and T97. 15 round 223 legally.. :fuckyea: |
did everyone sign the petition for no magazine capacity and non restricted ar? anyone going to the show coming up? |
no, no, and no |
I was looking to see which place offers mil / LE discounts and found that lever arms does a 10% discount. I'm not sure who this would apply to but every little bit of savings helps in this expensive hobby. Word on the street is that international also offers mil / le discount? |
Italian offers discounts to BCWF members |

I don't really care too much about the mag restrictions. XCR mags with 10 rounds are awesome. I don't need 25 rounds in a mag. That's like $8 per mag! But if they're giving, I'm taking. :lol NR AR is important for me. I'd love to see the AR platform open up in Canada. It's just so damn modular. We have a full day of kid's sports on Sunday, so I'll be heading to the show saturday. I still have to pay off my "new to me" Marlin, but I may snag a toy or two. Honestly, I'm expecting CGN EE type pricing. Quote:
