I remember buying one 10 years ago at westley's military surplus for 12 bucks. Maybe princess auto? |
looking good zed there were some in the shop i believe they went for 20$ or so i will keep my eyes open for you i kinda new the whole non restricted ar thing was too good to be true and no capacity magazine. It was just rumor mill or someone trolling but its a small step in the right direction the limited run of glocks, with factory barrels are really nice. A company used to bring g19 in with aftermarket lone wolf barrels and sell them for almost a 1000$, im not paying 1000 for a glock :heckno: stock barrels on g19/g23 were too short and were prohib so having a factory tb was nice too bad the g19 are sold out but theres some g23(40cal) and g17L(long slide) left . If anyone is in the market for a pistol Id recommend tracking down a g19 you could always flip it considering it was a limited run as they say. |
Thanks man. Any word when that plinker target will be coming in? |
we have the blast back knock down target and the heli spinning target in Stock |

My new fore grip came in the mail today. It has a green laser that you can zero, plus a flashlight with a strobe option. I really liked how it feels in my hands shooting now, as my 10/22 is kind of heavy and it was awkward to hold while standing with the 110 round drum on it. http://i459.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps628be9a8.jpg http://i459.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps5ed83769.jpg http://i459.photobucket.com/albums/q...psc5a45b9b.jpg |
Bought this today pretty fun haven't shot a pellet gun in like 10 years Crossman M417, BB and Pellet Rifle | Canadian Tire |
pellet pistols/rifles are a great way to practice while being SUPER cheap. |
I have never been so tempted to go for the $375 SKS deal @ lever arms Ahhhh .. and I found a guy selling the stock I want on canadiangunnuts for $120 .. Decisions, decisions |

Having some trouble dialing in the sights though |
BB guns are never all that accurate, depending on the BB quality. I use biodegradeable BBs as I shoot across my stream and one goes straight, another right, the next left. Just the way it is |
So I quite enjoy blasting rounds through the SKS and it has me looking at other Milsurp guns. I have been eyeing up a Nagant, a K31, and also the SVT 40. Has anyone owned either of these or shot any of them? |

we've had a couple swiss k31 come in and great condition nothing but great things apparently really accurate in most peoples hands i myself am very curious about a mosin also I was at poco towards the end of the day yesterday wasnt too busy but i can tell my groupings suffered with the lack of trigger time lately hope everyone is enjoying the sun and long weekend |
PAL just came in...... time to go shopping :D |

I have one with a BC Tactical pickatinny rail and red dot, but I took it off. The gun deserves to be left stock and shot in it's unadulterated form. Not that I would judge anyone who tacticools out their SKS. But mine will be kept stock, and shot often with the bayonet out. :D Quote:
Without constant practice my shot is way off. I used to target plink 10 shots at 100 yards, within about 8 seconds. Now I'm lucky if I hit all 10 targets in twice that time. :lol Quote:
:D I'm shocked at the prices of the AR rifles these days. http://i791.photobucket.com/albums/y...ps544ef53c.jpg DPMS for $599 http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/wol...20000_1000.jpg Daniel Defense for $999 I've seen Kriss Vectors for $1699, tavors for $2499, cz pistols for $600, it's crazy! |
can anyone recommend me a place to shoot some guns for fun? a friend came from overseas and its one of the things he would like to do. thanks. |
DVC in Coquitlam is your best bet. They're noob friendly and have a great selection of shooters for you to try. Other than that you'll need a friend with their PAL and access to a range. Or bush shoot, but that's going to be even harder to arrange. |

I came across the Daniel Defense and wanted to buy it..... ITS SOLD OUT :( Wolverine Supplies - Online Gun Store | Product Details | Daniel Defense M4 Carbine V1 5.56 Nato 16" This one right? I'm thinking about buying a 1911 now =/ |
^you have your pal but probably dont have your club membership and ltatt yet. might wanna get on those first before you go shopping if you plan to buy restricted. |
well, I went for a long drive to clear my thoughts today, ended up at Wholesale in Langley and I brought home a really nice Swiss K31 and 400 rounds. I've heard these things are excellent shooters and you can also reload with conventional 308 brass. Won't get to the range for a few days to try it out, though. |
so my GF surprised me by buying me the SKS combo from Lever arms :fullofwin: After having shot a friends stock SKS, I kinda wanna buy a upgraded compensator, bipod, and possibly upgraded optics / tapco kit :sweetjesus: the wood grain doesn't do it for me |

But they seem to be coming up every week now. Are you on Canadiangunnutz? It's a douchebag site, full of shithead rednecks, but every once in a while you find a thread that is full of great info. The 1911 chassis is sweet. I have a Sig Sauer 1911-22 that feels awesome. I wish I had one in a bigger bore though. Quote:
e-shopping is one of the best things you can do while waiting for the paperwork. My brother has been going back and forth on an AR or the short Kriss Vector for weeks. The minute his paperwork arrives, he'll have a decision made. Then the real waiting begins..... Quote:
You can get a lot of gun for your money when it comes to the old milsurps. Quote:
As for tacticool SKS, I've always liked this one here. http://cdn2.armslist.com/sites/armsl...go_sks_640.jpg |
My range is closed because of the Squamish Music Festival - so no test firing for me for a bit. Is there anyone locally that does Cerakote? I have a few projects that I want to start. |
