I'm curious what's going on with the hood?! Stickers?? Also condensation in both headlights and body damage all over.............

I thought one of the reasons these diesels couldn't exist in North America is because of the shit sulfur content in our fuels too? If that's the case... I can't see thing thing running properly in the long run.

Canada required stricter sulphur content on diesel fuels starting in 2007 (15 ppm) which is still higher than Europe's 10 ppm limit (as of 2009), but much lower than Canada's previous 500 ppm limit.

Starting in 2006, the US started to phase in a 15 ppm limit from a 500 ppm limit which was finalized in 2010.

Europe:
1996 - 500 ppm
2000 - 350 ppm
2005 - 50 ppm
2009 - 10 ppm

Canada:
1993 - 5000 ppm
1998 - 500 ppm
2007 - 15 ppm

Being a 2004, it was probably designed for the 350 ppm sulphur content diesel.

Import the TSX wagon from the USA, closest you're going to get.

I've thought about that, but didn't know the rules on bringing them up and didn't get around to looking it up

Its also not the best looking front end, but fuel economy/reliability/space its a pretty good combo

"This car runs great new brakes good on gas for v8 the only thing it needs is the heater switch"

I think this is the first time ever I've seen anyone call a Toyota V8 good on gas.

And what does he mean heater switch? The physical climate control switch, or does he mean thermostat?

The ad honestly elicits more questions than it answers

Not sure if this is a good deal given it's a rare spec, but there's a local 2015 6MT Outback with 48K mileage at Subaru Boundary. Most of the ones I've searched for in the past were in Quebec with high mileage.

Edit: Thought I got an Outback as a loaner; it was a Forester. Disregard

This one should have the FB25, which does not carry the notorious HG in the older EJ25 ( assuming that is what you are referring to).

It also has a timing chain.

JDMDreams 08-20-2020 12:47 PM

Rather have a m3

The Producer 08-20-2020 01:17 PM

the cheapest running e30m3 will cost you 50k+ to have in your driveway.

that e30 would be a fun car to have for 10k.

So would everyone. Quadruple the asking price though makes things a little more difficult.

JDMDreams 08-20-2020 04:31 PM

I mean E46 m3, same price all day everyday
