I just don't think that's a 20k truck...

-Supercab (dramatically less desirable than a crew)
-300,000km is a lot... The 6.2 is bulletproof but it's still nearing the end of what could be considered it's "normal" life.
-Guarantee every suspension component is worn out.

Says tranny rebuilt and shocks rebuilt, so if receipts can be provided for that, I think it's worth 15. No receipts... Less than that. Lol.

10 mpg in the city, wow!

Ding 01-11-2021 08:16 PM

That person spent more money on gas than the value of the truck.

Pretty rare, 2002 Audi S4, pretty low mileage at 176K kms, clean title, auto, only strike against it is a coolant leak, maybe gasket replacement? For list price of $3000 still worth considering if you can DIY or if you can find a good mech to do it for less than $1000. Paint and body looks decent in pics.

Good god I can't imagine the work that truck needs or has needed... the entire fleet I take care of for work has like 300+ F250's and F350's......... the maintenance costs are insane on those things.

Fafine 01-11-2021 08:36 PM

considering people are selling high mileage 5th gens for like 17k that raptor from 20k isnt bad at all.

Even Audi guys think the B5 is bad news

westopher 01-11-2021 08:47 PM

They are such great looking cars.
My buddy literally dropped out of his 3rd year of mechanics because of them though lol.

Just wanted to give used BMW folks another option in high maintenance and costly used vehicle ... that for some reason, satisfies the soul.

bcrdukes 01-12-2021 05:22 AM

lol

Buy a B5 and this is all you'll see

^^ I'm not intimidated by pics like that anymore.

after years of trying to figure out how to do jobs without removing the front clip of a car, I had a sudden epiphany that taking the time to methodically remove the bumper and rad/support really isn't that big a deal. So many cars these days are designed for these types of service positions. I wish I could go back to the jobs that I've done over the years, on my back, blind, trying desperately to reinstall a bolt or a clip.

I'd buy that B5 today if it was 3 pedal. nor worth the effort to sort out a tip car

TopsyCrett 01-12-2021 01:46 PM

Looks well kept, automatic though. Leather looks fantastic.

old lady car had covers since day 1? not a red flag to me on a grandma spec car. It looks really well taken care of.

that thing looks great - what sweet daily that would be.

underscore 01-12-2021 05:17 PM

Depends how the miles were put on. If someone had a long solo commute they're getting in/out a lot less and garage/parkades at each end would have kept it out of the sun.

RevYouUp 01-12-2021 05:30 PM

Or :alone: with no passengers to drive

I see your B5 S4 and raise you an even more troublesome one:

LOL

westopher 01-12-2021 08:22 PM

Nothing is more troublesome than the 2.7tt. Basically have to pull the motor to do an oil change lol.

bcrdukes 01-13-2021 05:14 AM

That is terrible.

trollface 01-13-2021 06:42 AM

Why do ppl buy cars like this lol

Hondaracer 01-13-2021 07:21 AM

Ballin on a budget?

Generally speaking the people who buy these cars (see used X5 on last page) are the complete opposite of the person that SHOULD be buying them lol

JDMDreams 01-13-2021 07:28 AM

Pimpin ain't easy :okay:
