Also, if you look at dash pictures - the units are in miles/Fahrenheit.

tegra7 09-11-2020 12:56 PM

Not a FS ad but keep an eye out for this guys stolen car.

oldsnail 09-11-2020 01:56 PM

the computer is also listed in Miles

snowfarmer 09-11-2020 02:59 PM

and the data on the screen is all in miles.

Revscene fake ad detection squad rates this ad as almost certainly fake.

dammit - oldsnail and roastpuff beat me to it!

headhunt3r 09-11-2020 03:42 PM

Google searched an image from the Tesla ad and it came back as a listing in the EU. Fake 100%

The 2G CR-V/DC5/EP3/Element are basically the same car :lawl: their suspension parts are essentially all interchangeable, among a bunch of other things.

twitchyzero 09-11-2020 07:42 PM

have seen a few youtubers with civics putting in CRV parts to gain awd

True, that Netflix show "fastest car" had a couple of Civic hatches with CRV derived AWD for launches... only way out of the hole for those boosted K-swaps

Gorgeous apparent 1-owner Mustang GT from 2005. Looks brand new. Really well looked after.

That particular gen Mustang has not aged well in my opinion... 4.6 is such a dog compared to the 2011+ 5.0 engines

underscore 09-11-2020 10:46 PM

The interior looks infinitely better than the 2 previous gens at least.

As a 5.0 owner, I respectfully disagree. The stock 3v 4.6 GT is a mid 13 second car new and has about 300 hp new. With some 3.73 gears you can really wake it up, plus intake, exhaust, and tune. Then they leap off the line. Aftermarket parts for days.

Additionally, they're extremely reliable cars.

The 5.0 engine is better stock for stock, of course, it's bigger, it's a 4 valve, and it's newer tech. But it's also much more expensive.

Fair enough on the decent 1/4 mile time, I just couldn't do it with the 5.0 around hahaha... despite the extra cost... like buying a Focus ST when the RS exists :D

twitchyzero 09-12-2020 11:01 AM

too bad 4spd auto
maybe the demographics looking at 90s camaro dont want a third pedal though

Disappointed! This guy's ad seems pretty honest, he seemed okay at first on text... then went quiet and then suddenly today send me an address and a time out of nowhere that just reeked of copy&paste to me, so I wrote back "Sounds good... it it just me or is this now a group viewing tho?" and after a long hesitation he wrote back "Maybe a few people"

Okay well. Thanks, but no thanks... especially given COVID concerns... not showing up to bid on an old Accord with 10 other strangers.

twitchyzero 09-12-2020 11:56 AM

well it's not worth setting up viewings different times of the day for an old accord when chance of flaking is high

i had a guy try to sell me a fiesta st and kept telling me that its a great sports car, fast, great handling etc...once i told him im not interested in taking it as a trade in for the money he thought its worth he told me " you dont know what this car can do " :) Apparently its a 15 sec 1/4 mile sports car lol There are minivans that are faster that this fiesta st. " its got recaros though"

donjalapeno 09-12-2020 04:07 PM

Might be a good buy if the seller negotiates a little bit. These things are becoming rare and are cool as hell imo. My uncle had one as a taxi-cab back in the day.

Maybe GS8 can get rid of his painful Infiniti for this. :D

68style 09-12-2020 05:47 PM

Wow that’s such a truck/police car thing on the Caprice with that package lol, having cloth front seats and vinyl back ones. Puke proof for your COVID partying :troll:

SkunkWorks 09-12-2020 05:58 PM

Just need a trench coat and a stache to go pick that up.

Infiniti is doing fine. Has one of the nicest V6 sounds I've heard. I've learned its more European than Japanese when it comes to engineering and therefore maintenance. Pre Japanese recession built as well.

Speaking of Japanese:
