Rare Manual EX-R - I always see this in Burnaby, looks pretty clean in person. Needs a paint match on the trunk though... and I can guarantee the taillight seals are toast cuz he always has a tarp on the trunk when it rains haha.

Moisture looks more forward too. These also leak from the trim under the back glass.

What I've noticed about these cars, unlike 90's civics owned by younger people, lots of old people have had their old accords repainted.

if it were a fox fairmont or thunderbird maybe. If one can get past the undesirability of it, there's rust on the doors and possibly under that vinyl top. If it were a caprice or cadillac or any other GM product I can see some appeal, otherwise I'll pass on this every day of the week.

It's a shame about the miatas and rocker rust. Way back when I used to wrench at Mazda they hadn't started to rust yet. I did see a few water logged ECUs so every miata that came in I cleared the plugged rocker drains. I think everyone in our shop did this, I guess the guys going to the lube shops and probably also the private shops are missing out.

Nice find. With the pandemic, a sub $5k NB is a bargain. Rocker rust isn't as bad as most NA's.

That thing is worth exactly what Scrap It will pay and nothing more.
