For those wondering about Mark Giordano's bicep torn injury Quote:

The big advantage for the Canucks is we have the veteran team and lets see if the young Flames players can play a consistent series. As well they are not a big tough team like the Jets, Anaheim and other western teams which will help our chances as well. |
The Flames win was great for a few reasons: -clinch playoff spot -clinch playoff spot for Winnipeg -eliminate LA -sets the first round match-up against Canucks :D Quote:

Is the playoff schedule out yet? |

If the Lames lose or lose in OT/Shootout, then the Canucks get home ice. If the Lames win, then the Nucks need just a single point to clinch home ice. *IF* Canucks clinch home ice, the first game will most likely be on Wednesday April 15 and the second game will be Friday April 17. April 16, Rogers arean will have Ariana Grande and April 18th Rogers arena will have Def Leppard. |
I want me a BoHo jersey :D Maybe Kenins too if he sticks around |
Las Vegas Aces :notbad: |
So Pens just lost, if Ottawa wins tomorrow they are in!! |
Its out of Boston's hands completely GO SENS! |
Buyer beware for people looking for playoff tickets, I was just browsing craigslist and by some fluke chance I saw an ad that contained my season ticket/playoff seats. This person claims to have up to 8 seats in a row which I'm sure its all fake tickets. So make sure when you buy tickets you get proof of purchase, Canucks ID, drivers license, and possibly meet at a police station lobby because it looks like scammers are out in full force already. |
This Jets' playoff anthem sounds pretty good. Would Eminem approve? |

Who has tie breaker if canucks lose in regulation and flames win in shootout? Both teams will have the same ROW |
we only need 1 point tomorrow to get home ice. therefore, if we lose in regulation tomorrow, calgary gets it. |

If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order: 1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage). 2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the Shootout. This figure is reflected in the ROW column. 3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing. 4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season. NOTE: In standings a victory in a shootout counts as one goal for, while a shootout loss counts as one goal against. |
