Jared McCann was the real 6th overall draft pick

Jake Virtanen the 24th :troll:

Pretty much

You see flashes of it, Virtanen is fast his stride is effortless, he's got good sense he's just struggling with the speed of the game and less time before defences close on him and men that are his size or bigger. He will put it all together I think.

is Boeser on the US roster?

i'm more curious watching him than Virtanen
i think US has a good shot this year

Bob McKenzie quoted someone that says we have the best odds of winning the draft lottery at this point.

SumAznGuy 12-22-2015 09:30 AM

It's just a twitter pic.
Someone's projections says we have 11% chance of getting Matthews.
Buffalo and Oilers are both at 9.1%
CBJ is at 8.9%
And Arizonia is at 8%.
Then you have 15 other teams below that.

Nabatron 12-22-2015 09:35 AM

gotcha! well the way i see it canucks will have to be fucking bad to even come close to top 5 over all and i mean fucking bad! the way the pacfic division is if canucks play .500 hockey they still have a legitimate shot and the playoffs ie no top 5 pick

Ch28 12-22-2015 09:54 AM

Dude, Canucks have been playing close to .500 hockey and they're close to being last lol

pastarocket 12-22-2015 10:03 AM

What are the chances of JB trading Vrbata to rebuild the team with draft picks AND make sure the team tanks for the rest of the season. :considered:

I think Aquaman will pressure Dim Jim to make the team "competitive" in order for the boss to get some playoff revenue. The big boss is gonna pull the strings of JB like a puppet despite telling the media that Linden and JB have "full autonomy" on hockey related decisions.

If the Canucks are out of playoff contention at the deadline and they don't trade him, I would be seriously concerned.

Nabatron 12-22-2015 10:34 AM

aquamen will fuck this team up and JB/TL will be the ones to be blamed for it mark my words!

Hondaracer 12-22-2015 10:54 AM

Pretty sure TL and JB can do enough damage on their own

If they are still hovering around the bottom of the league in April, the smart business decision is to tank. Not this first round sweep revenue bullshit.

invader 12-22-2015 11:11 AM

Vrbata already told Ian Mac that he will have say where he will get traded.

So it's not an IF, its a WHEN.

He also said that Higgins has no trade value. Put him on waivers, hes a pylon out there. Bring up Gaunce in his place.
