I'll always be a fan. I don't agree with how management is dealing with the team. That's why I'm not watching any games until management gets there heads out of their asses.

P.Kane reached 100 pts today with a hat trick and an assist, Panarin had 4 pts as well. Could Kane be a candidate for the Masterton trophy? Had a crazy drama filled off-season and came back better than ever to put up 100 pts and counting.

I'm not a Hawks fan but Kane & Panarin are awesome to watch, every bit as exciting as Benn & Seguin in my opinion.

Kane for Masterston? No. Absolutely not. Settling self-inflicted off-ice judgement issues are not what I would consider the spirit of that award to be about.

I agree.

I said candidate, not sure shot to win or even that he is deserving of winning it. There are other players I would put ahead of him as well. However, I think he will get some consideration for it.

So, due to injuries, our second line today will be Horvat between Dorsett and Etem.

Our second line.... Not third or fourth... Second. That's some epic tanking.

Jmac 04-04-2016 08:46 AM

Willie does that kind of shit regardless of injuries.

Kadri suspended rest of season for cross-checking Glendening.

pastarocket 04-04-2016 09:46 AM

C'mon Tankcouver!! If there was ever a time this team needed a four game losing streak, it is right now.

Tank! Tank! This week can change the direction of the franchise if the team starts another long losing streak this week.

6o4__boi 04-04-2016 09:47 AM

canucks gonna win the rest of the season just cus lol

totally what my expectations are

Durrann 04-04-2016 09:57 AM

aiming for our 3rd straight win of the season. let's do this! :troll:

Kinda interesting, but this morning my twitter was going a little nuts with all the tweets about refs and linesmens that officiated their last career games this season.
With so many veteran officials retiring, it's going to be somewhat interesting next year.

hey guys, i have a framed picture of trevor linden and kirk mclean that my family bought 5+ years ago from a silent auction at a canucks game (rogers arena)

the picture is signed by both players , and was bought for couple hundred dollars ($3-500 i believe) If i were to sell it, what would the estimated value be?

if u guys want a pic of it, i can take it later tonight

Epic, it took me a while to get mine signed by both players because a lot of Kirk or Trevor signings specified that they won't sign this picture but ultimately I finally hit a Kirk and Linden separately where they didn't have that rule.

Best guess without doing any research is maybe $300 tops but that depends how big we're talking about. The market for autographed stuff is generally kind of weak. Silent auctions at games tend to fetch more because you catch people in the moment. Yes, this is one of the most epic Canucks pictures to own so that serves you well but for a buyer it ain't exactly hard to get either.

Trevor Linden is overrated and Pavel Bure/Sedins doesnt get enough credit for things they have done for this franchise.

inb4 someone talks about Linden and charity related

Ronin 04-04-2016 03:49 PM

$500 seems about right for a framed, autographed one but it's not worth that much, really. It's a photo you can get off the internet and both players are still alive and very active in the community.

Like how one guy provided leadership and mentored a number of young players that went on to become stars like Nazzy, Bert, Mo, and the Sedins...and the other skipped town and went to Florida?

I like Bure too but really, he scored goals. What has he really done for the franchise? Only last year did he start showing up at Canucks stuff again when they retired his number and for Gino.

Bure was undoubtedly more talented and true...Linden reputation is greater than his actual on-ice numbers but if you think Bure did more for the franchise than Linden, you are nuts. You can argue Sedins or Linden (and it's the Sedins)

Only thing going for him is his picture should have the reflective hologram sticker and a letter that authenticates the signatures.
Not that that really ads any value.

Mike Oxbig 04-04-2016 03:56 PM

^ only holds value if you plan to resell in the future
