I find vehicle virgins insufferable but it is true that the Model X/S have well documented camber issues that shred the inner tires regardless if it's 20 or 22 wheel size. People resort to aftermarket or DIY to fix it. |
yep and high end market in Aspen / Malibu have moved on from Model S/X to Lucid and Rivians my hot take is cletus and other tesla folk make clickbait content for people who live in suburbs and don't talk to different real life people enough |
^ guy mentioned that it's not so much tread although heavier car => more tire wear, he is referring to the inside of the tire wall starting to fall apart and you cannot see that unless you put the car up the hoist and look specifically there. By chance have you see any excessive wear in that inner tire wall area? |

I'd be lucky to get over 25k from my tires on my 100hp shxt box lol~ Obviously I'm doing it wrong LOL~ |
Just checked my Model 3 (just a lowly base base rwd 3 though....) Everything looks fine after 24,508 KM, even wear all around... I even went under the vehicle to look at the inner tire wall... Lol guess its only a "performance" variant problem XD |
Almost 3 years and 39k on my model 3 with tire rotations every 10k. Still look new. I use a separate set for winter months. I skimmed through that video.. his model s looks to be lowered. Maybe invest in some adjustable camber arms. |
I'm pretty sure he said it was Plaid specific |
It’s the random price drops from Tesla that would drive me insane. Like today you pay 60k for a car. Tomorrow it magically becomes 7k cheaper out of the blue. What the fuck |

About 6 months after I bought my first M3 in 2018, they dropped the price by $6k and started to include basic auto pilot. It sucked but I got lucky and sold the car in 2021 when prices were going crazy. I ended up buying a 2021 M3 before the prices went up and the interest rates were still really low. I actually got about $5k more than what I owed on the car when I sold it. |

Though I am actually looking forward to the new 3 Plaid... if they really stuff a tri-motor setup in a model 3.... mmmmm |

https://bc.ctvnews.ca/police-share-v...them-1.6841603 I wonder if she told the officer that she was using Telsa FSD and its perfectly safe. EleGiggle |
Is there anyone actively looking for a new Prius Prime? My sales person informed me that they have a 2024 Prius Prime XSE Premium in black arriving soon, which I initially placed a $500 deposit on. Most likely I'm going to bail on it, so if anyone on Revscene is looking to get into one, you can PM me. |
Neat park feature on FSD. https://www.reddit.com/r/Unexpected/s/vQwmtDGGdC |
Mach E Rally https://www.ford.com/suvs/mach-e/models/mach-e-rally/ Kind of an attempt at the R3X thing but not nearly as cool. |

and I can't stand ppl who call a model 3 M3 and I have seen ppl call their mazda 3 an m3, so goddamn confusing |
Just noticed pricing for the EV6 GT dropped to under $70k to qualify for EV rebates. Seems like a nice alternative to a MYP for those not wanting a Tesla. |
Yikes... as if I needed more reasons not to support Tesla beyond Elon Musk's involvement with them: https://www.thenation.com/article/so...al-harassment/ Just gross. |

FSD subscription now available in Canada for only 99/mth. The latest update is something I can vouch for. It used to be something I don’t recommend people getting as it was not ready yet. But the V12 is something else. The driving is super smooth and natural. As I mentioned in previous posts. I’m hardly doing any driving nowadays. It’s that good. Especially in city driving. Everyone who’s got the free FSD trial should take it for a drive. It’s unreal how natural it is. Give it the freedom to set the speed according to traffic, and it will drive like any of us. Yes, it would mean that in those roads that you and everyone on Road tend to break the speed limit, FSD would do it too. But it’s incredible. |
^It does better than 80% of lower mainland drivers. |
