So that means they will finally lower finance rates cuz cars won't move even more now

bcrdukes 05-01-2025 09:54 AM

I doubt it.

AstulzerRZD 05-01-2025 10:56 AM

Yes VW still start heavily incentivizing in Canada soon too.
ID4 is 10k off, ID buzz discounts will probably come next year

JDMDreams 05-01-2025 11:04 AM

I've only seen like 2 plated buzz and they look huge

dark0821 05-02-2025 03:50 PM

Ioniq 5 N is on sale from the manufacturer

5 year lease @ 20,000KM per year
So 100,000KM lease total

$1800 due at signing (including 1st payment) X $999/month X remaining 59 months

OR

$1250 due at signing (including 1st payment) X $462/biweekly LOL X remaining 129 payments

thanks for catching this.

Includes all fees and taxes... and that is with the $1500 matte paint, if you pick a normal gloss color or only pick 16,000KM per year, it will be even cheaper...

I will say decent deal, longer commitment, but not tied down, you are walk away from it after 5 years.

Considering what you can lease for $1,000 taxed in these days...its probably the fastest vehicle for the price....

JDMDreams 05-02-2025 03:55 PM

^^ you're saying we can do a 10y 9 month lease at $462 a month

Badhobz 05-02-2025 04:27 PM

its kinda cool. i like the paint and i always liked the look of this weirdo EV....... but no.. i still prefer not

RabidRat 05-02-2025 05:47 PM

@Dark, for cash/finance, is there a better deal than the -$5000 advertised on the Hyundai website?

Just wondering if really pushed, how low that price could go lol.

Though I still really wish you could option a panoramic roof.

AstulzerRZD 05-02-2025 06:41 PM

So this is leasing for the price of the ID4 base model, nice.

JDMDreams 05-02-2025 07:49 PM

I could afford $462 a month but not biweekly FeelsBadMan

yray 05-06-2025 07:37 PM

https://www.thedrive.com/news/good-l...es-benz-cla-ev

WTF? How do they leave this feature out?

Wouldn’t it be ironic if future-proofing something also meant it’s unusable today? Such is the problem for anyone who gets the upcoming Mercedes-Benz CLA EV. Mercedes has confirmed that its new, entry-level electric vehicle is designed for 800-volt DC fast chargers, but as a result, it’s not compatible at all with common 400-volt chargers—you’re either charging ultra fast or ultra not at all.

The new CLA EV is equipped with Tesla’s North American Charging System (NACS) port. However, as InsideEVs reports, a Norwegian EV enthusiast discovered that the CLA doesn’t support charging that is less than 500 volts, which consequently means the car won’t be able to use any of the NACS stations throughout the Tesla Supercharger network after all. This isn’t just a European problem because no Superchargers in the U.S. currently support 800-volt charging either.

Who does? Coincidentally, Electrify America‘s entire charger network supports 1,000-volt charging. Oh, but CLA owners are going to need an adapter to use them. Although the CLA EV has both a NACS and J1772 charging port, EA stations utilize CHAdeMO for up to 50 kW of charging speed and CCS for speeds up to 350 kW.

It remains to be seen whether Mercedes will be distributing CCS1 adapters, but as somewhat of a workaround, the in-car navigation system will direct drivers to the few and far between compatible stations. Home AC charging is also an option, of course, but that method takes hours. Gee, thanks, Mercedes.

AstulzerRZD 05-12-2025 06:17 AM

It’s a regional difference - They don’t need 400V in Europe because they weren’t idiots with their Supercharger rollout.

North American cars will ship with 800V and both NACS/CCS ports; meaning no adapter bullshit.

Who is the target market for a Porsche taycan gt weissach? It has 4 doors but only 2 seats.

Badhobz 05-12-2025 09:03 PM

^retards of course.

red kryptonite 05-12-2025 10:00 PM

^ doesnt the gr corolla morizo have rear seat delete too??

Badhobz 05-13-2025 01:45 AM

Yes and that’s even more retarded. Savage geese / goose did a comparison against the ratrolla gr vs the mk8.5 golf R. The new Hitler box won with a commanding lead. it was over 100hp less and significantly slower around the track even though both cars cost the same.

I’ve always said that 3 cylinder is way to stressed.

RabidRat 05-13-2025 05:56 AM

Oh yeah I just saw that one too. They said the diff action was inconsistent and felt unnatural on the R. Didn't matter, still won lol. And it made more power to the wheels than advertised at the crank, while the GRC was way less, IIRC? Terrible.

They should've brought the GR Yaris over instead. Then it's not trying to compete head to head, it's a whole other kind of car, a micro rally rocket.

You have inspired me to swap one into the Mini. :accepted:

JDMDreams 05-13-2025 07:52 AM

I watched it too. Sad how the Toyota performed. And the interior is that bad.

The B38 is a fun engine, and makes good power. Just the fuel mileage is not amazing.

JDMDreams 05-13-2025 11:40 AM

Honda is delaying Ontario EV plans, time to byd

I want a motor that annoys Badhobz to no avail. :moderated: :fuckyea:

Edit: Toyota would not sell me a crate engine. :okay:

Badhobz 05-13-2025 03:59 PM

The only engine that annoys me is that bitch ass Subaru engine they shove inside a 350k beetle. Sounds like a bag of plastic dicks spinning in a dryer. Yeah. Picture it.

Now charge 350k for it and claim “exclusivity” when you literally make 10x the volume of my ratrolla. Does it use any rare materials ?!? Nope. Is the build quality the same as my hitlerbox ?!? You fucking bet. Squeaks and rattles galore

What are you paying for here ?!? Exclusive club of douchebags and retards
