Winning with the kids is is a good thing. Last thing we want is whatever that poison they have in the avs organization. How the kids are looking forward to their vegas trip.

Are you kidding me? Tell that to Chicago when they were able to draft Kane and Toews, tell that to Pittsburgh when they were able to draft Malkin and Crosby. This isnt the boy scouts where we have to be ethical and shit. Sometimes u gotta do bad things in a bad situation. Theses kids arent stupid, they know the NHL is a business, 10 games of losing isnt going hurt their development. Did we already forget who drafted Matthews and Laine?

I don't think any players in the upcoming draft have the potential to be anything like the players you mention in your post.

Valid only if the draft had HIGH caliber players like the listed. Look at all the years of tanking Edmonton did, until #97 came by they were still getting nothing done.

From everything I have read or heard, this upcoming draft does not have the talent like last years players, or any of those franchise superstars listed.

The draft to absolutely tank is next seasons. The top 2 guys (Svechnikov & Dahlin) are projected to be like Ovechkin and Karlsson. The scouts are saying that Dahlin is doing even better than Lidstrom and Karlsson were at their age.

im just optimistic that theres enough good people in the room to swerve the team in the right direction in 2017/2018
