LOL this is amazing but with Willie's coaching style, I guess it can be believable haha. |
Jokes on Sedins if Willie starts Troy on forward tmrw. |
Megna signed to 1-year contract extension. Likely to meet the expansion draft requirements. Or maybe because Willie will be back next year  In related news, Megna back in the lineup tonight, Goldie sits |
Another loss :awwyeah: |
If Willie is coach next year and/or Megna is in the roster, I'm fucking done. Anyone see that pic of JV? Guy is big country no more. Looks more like Christian Bale from The Machinist now |
Of note, Thornton injured himself by skating into the back of Chaput, left the game and didn't return. Seen visibly limping when leaving the arena (at least no crutches/boot). Another reason to hate Willie; Chaput playing 1st line minutes with 1 point in 14 games with the Sedins (Megna-level production) and inadvertently injures a top player on the Sharks a few games before the playoffs start. We need that 31st overall pick! Another reason to love Willie; level 9000 tank commander rides AHL vets like Megna and Chaput to hopefully a bottom 2 finish. Megna's going to be in the organization; there's no fucking way Vegas takes Megna ... unless they hire Willie after we shitcan him. |
Sedins should have done an April Fool's video with Chaput telling him he's playing on the first line with them and he'd be all confused like "but... I do play on the first line with you guys every game..." and the Sedins pull a Rainier Wolfcastle "... that's the joke" and just walk away. |
please, hockey gods, let us lose the last 4 games (SJ, Arizona, Edm, Edm) |
By the looks of things that AZ game is going to be huge and will really determine what place we finish in. |
Schneids needs to do us a solid and get NJD some wins and that ARI game is definitely a must-lose. |
The year we tank, we have to have Vegas coming in and fucking up the odds even further. Talk about Canucks luck. lol |
i don't envision next year's Canucks to be any better than this year's so i guess there's always tanking next year? :alonehappy: |
Next year is a good freaking draft year too |
NHL will not participate in 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Games - Sportsnet.ca Going to be interesting to see who says "Screw you NHL, still going to Olympics" and actually go. |
You know Ovechkin will |
^C'mon...suspension or fine from Bettman or would you rather have a bullet in the head from Putin? |

Bettman and the owners make a short-sighted business decision in not letting the league's best players participate in the Olympics. Honestly, NHL participation in the Olympics in my opinion is the best way to promote the league, and build a global brand in the long term for NHL hockey. Instead, Bettman wants teams to play pre-season games and eventually regular seasons games in China. Gina!! SwiftRage He thinks that China will become a hotbed for hockey? Basketball is popular in China, but hockey??? :fulloffuck: This little troll is robbing some players' opportunity to represent his country in the Olympics! |
Don't worry, guys. We got that piece of shit known as the world cup of hockey to replace it. |
I have to say, it's pretty damn envious to see the Leafs turn it around so fast in 3 years. Added Nylander, Marner, and Matthews in the past 3 years but man what a change from the days of Kessel, Phaneuf..lol Meanwhile, Canucks added Virtanen, Boeser, and Juolevi in the past 3 years. |
While right now the Canucks future looks decent to somewhat bleak, I don't think Toronto really has a high end defensive prospect in their pool do they? I still believe the Canucks could be an interesting team in about 3 years. See how some prospects pan out and what they can draft and develops. |

I meant the past 3 years that contributed to their success today. lol Edmonton took how many years to be competitive? |

what if the sedins decide to retire early and go to the Olympics? Any chance recent retired NHL players will go to the Olympics? Maybe we will see TT in god mode form again |
