If the Oilers didn't have McDavid I think I'd have no issues cheering them on like I am currently with the Sens (can't beat a good story or 5). Draisatl has been nothing short of god-like and I'm a big fan of him as a player. But it still irks me that they're all of a sudden a 2nd-round playoff team after 10 years of complete trash and a big stroke of luck. Yes I'm jealous.

The new kids are exciting. I doubt Horvat is ever going to be a franchise player, and I would hope that Stecher stays healthy for a small defenseman. But there is hope as a Canucks fan.

I always thought of Tkachuk as a Canadian, but now that you mention it he played for Team USA at a couple olympics back in the day.

It really sucks when great players have their careers cut short due to injuries and health issues. Bobby Orr...... ..man that guy was amazing. Paul Kariya another example.
