I don't think Dean Lombardi cares about that right now. He's looking to keep up with the rest of the Pacific (lol) to ensure they have a playoff spot at the end of the season. I suspect Lombardi is trying to secure a goaltender, then once that's done he will spend the rest of the time Quick is out trying to figure out how to make it work, be it via trades, sending players down, etc.

LAK is horrendous in the crease at the moment. If they continue to bleed points, his job likely is in danger (remember he was on the hot seat in 2012 before making those go-for-broke deals and eventually winning 2 cups in 4 years).

I wouldn't. That's a $2.9375M cap hit with a limited NTC for 6 more years for a guy who's barely a 3rd liner now and declining fast.

Unless you could get an absolute stud prospect/pick (which LAK doesn't have and wouldn't give up if they did), it's nowhere near worth it.
