was at the game. sutter looked good. Bo needs more ice time. Guddy looked useless and that STUPID penalty. didn't really see much from burrows.

that 1 line sure likes to fucking pass the puck and not shoot but little more time together and they'll be dangerous. I'm liking erickson

Nabatron 10-21-2016 09:09 AM

^I agree on everything you said but to say guddy useless totally disagree! He is a steady and tuff as nails dman, his penalty was in reaction to him getting slew footed which I can agree I would be pissed too...burrows is legit useless 0 offense from him. Guy on a 2 on 1 with a delayed penalty and bobbles the puck like its a grenade. All he is good for now is "vet presence/leadership" and pk...

I don't think Dean Lombardi cares about that right now. He's looking to keep up with the rest of the Pacific (lol) to ensure they have a playoff spot at the end of the season. I suspect Lombardi is trying to secure a goaltender, then once that's done he will spend the rest of the time Quick is out trying to figure out how to make it work, be it via trades, sending players down, etc.

LAK is horrendous in the crease at the moment. If they continue to bleed points, his job likely is in danger (remember he was on the hot seat in 2012 before making those go-for-broke deals and eventually winning 2 cups in 4 years).

EmperorIS 10-21-2016 09:34 AM

Canucks pretty good.

Mike Oxbig 10-21-2016 09:35 AM

LAK needs to retool, they have a good core but they wont be going for the cup this season

SJ vs CHI west
TB vs WSH/PENS east

Armind 10-21-2016 09:47 AM

We da best.

6o4__boi 10-21-2016 09:53 AM

Kings have too many garbage contracts. They're lucky as hell/shady as fuck to have gotten out of Richards' contract.

Expresso 10-21-2016 11:30 AM

That Dustin Brown contract is going to haunt them the next 6 years. Career 50-60 pointer for $5.8M cap hit.

6o4__boi 10-21-2016 11:50 AM

pretty dick move on their part to strip him of captaincy and not even assign him an A

Expresso 10-21-2016 12:17 PM

I think having the C on him was a sad reminder to the team of his former self. It was depressing hahahaah

He's been half of that for a few seasons already ...

When you gotta go, you gotta go. Can't let that expensive arena food go to waste.

id take him on the canucks for the remainder of the contract if kings retained 50% and threw in a prospect/pick for dorsett

I wouldn't. That's a $2.9375M cap hit with a limited NTC for 6 more years for a guy who's barely a 3rd liner now and declining fast.

Unless you could get an absolute stud prospect/pick (which LAK doesn't have and wouldn't give up if they did), it's nowhere near worth it.

highfive 10-21-2016 04:38 PM

We have somebody like that in Burrows. Why throw away a bottom 6 spot for him?

Unless the trade is like what Florida paid to get rid of Bolland (Crouse) or Chicago in getting rid of Bickell (Teraveunan). Don't need Brown.

yea, obviously. why else would you take on 6years of that lol. la is kind of in a bad spot, they need to to make some moves to shake up that roster

sonick 10-22-2016 10:23 AM

Eriksson off the first line tonight

Tim Budong 10-22-2016 10:36 AM

loui, bo and virtanen...

hmmmmmmmm
guess you can't separate the hotness that is the second line of sutter, hansen and granlund as one would think Hansen gets the first shot at wing with the twins

XplicitLuder 10-22-2016 10:44 AM

well that didnt take long to get seperated WutFace
