I missed it, what happened? | They had some dude out to sing the national anthems and the sound system goes all bonkers during the US national anthem and in the end they kinda cut it short with the fans trying to sing it.
They finished off with the fans singing the Canadian national anthem. Quote:

Wtf.... Canucks tie and then fall asleep for the next 60 seconds.... Had so many chances to clear the zone. So lucky St louis didn't score. | Sbisa had a pretty good game till that last minute where he decides he will try to go end to end and loses the puck before the blue line.
Overall, I wasn't impressed with their first PP set up. Daniel on the left half boards is the wrong place to be and Larsen looks like poo at the top of the umbrella. He consistently refuses to shoot from there and is passing to a left handed Daniel on the left half wall. Really from there, Daniels only play is to go back up to Larsen, cross ice to Henrik or toss it on net and hope Eriksson can dig a rebound free.
I see some potential on the PP, but it's gonna need some fine tuning.
Sutter looked like a beast out there. I can see how we suffered last year without him in the lineup.
I really like that so called 3rd line of Sutter, Hansen and Grundland.
for a fourth line, Dorsett, Burrows, and Gaunce looked really good. They have speed and can hit to create offensive zone possession.
I thought it was funny when even Daniel hit the Blues defender in the end boards to cause puck seperation and then Henrik comes in and picks up the puck.
I was a tad disappointed with Baertschi as he lacked a little in the first period but started to show more urgency in the second and a lot in the third period.
Bo was a beast as well. That dangle and backhand was a beaut. I love the energy in his goal celebration. I think the canucks have a new "beast mode" |
