^is that the media talking or idiot fans? |
I can't remember what the general consensus was with the media for JV's draft I was always under the impression they wanted Ehlers/Nylander. |

I remember wanting Canucks to take Nylander instead. |
I remember being pissed we didn't take Nylander |

Some said they drafted virtanen as a PR move so it will buy canucks time to suck longer while the fanbase focus on Jake putting the blame on him if he does not succeed |
Glad I got a few laughs... I miss the 2010 season :okay: |
I didn't particularly like the JV pick when they made it, but it wasn't like it was off the board, either (I was hoping for Draisaitl, but EDM beat us to him; after that, Nylander). The problem with Virtanen was that, while he had the physical tools, his overall game was still very simple and raw. I don't think the team has done themselves or JV any favours by fast-tracking him into the NHL and then keeping him here. I'd argue that they should've let him play in the WHL last year and in the AHL this year. |
^ I was hoping for Drai too but Edm bead us out just like fucking Pullujarvi. Virtanen needs AHL and playing time. Nothing he can do in junior because he can just overpower the opposing player. AHL he will have a tougher time. But it's still too damn early to say Ehler / Nylander was a better pick. Look at how Horvat and Nichushkin were compared in the beginning. |

Is it Virt? Hahaha this point could be anyone hahahha But that tweet is uncalled for. Makes you wonder wtf is going on inside the locker room and where the divide is |
locker room divided? we should trade schneids and kesler agai.. o wait |
i honestly think the Sedins don't give a fuck anymore and the locker room is just a bunch of guys going to work and not having any fun can't really blame them. they should drop this whole pretext of trying to compete, i don't know who the fuck out there even thinks the Canucks can compete this year except the retarded disillusioned ultra-optimist fucktards who seem to think everything is just dandy. Send JV to AHL, kid is pretty useless in the NHL at this time and WDs coaching style isn't helping. Waive fucking Larsen. The guy is useless is as fuck. Waive Biega and send him down. Fuck the expansion draft reasoning, there were similar dmen who were waived and weren't picked up. That's what Sbisa is for anyway. The best thing that can happen this season is the team capitulates and resigns to a rebuild and accumulates as much draft picks as humanly possible. But then again, we all know that'll never happen. |
Ok, so taking predictions as to how many points the Canucks get on this roadtrip. I say 2pts MAX! |
hope we lose all the games so Willie can go |
McDavid vs Matthews for the first time in the NHL tonight. |

But with housing, food, parking, and gas prices the way they are, I can't afford to go out and spend $400 to watch them play AHL hockey. Quote:

I wouldn't pay more than $20 to go to a Canucks game to be honest. It's barely watchable when i'm on the couch with a footrest and a dram. If we as a city supported our team like the Leafs fan did, we'd have a middle of nowhere, no direction team and an owner too flush in cash to bother with an actual rebuild...oh wait. Hitting rock bottom really is the only way for this team to move forward. |
Miller always seem to be the alone wolf in the locker room? |

Gaunce is the only player on the current roster that was "developed" in Utica. |
