Sooner or later, they are going to experiment Tryamkin on the 2nd PP and he will plant his ass right in front of the net. Still better than watching the Sedins passing back and forth for whole 70 seconds like the ducks game. lol |
dont know how they are saying he isnt ready to play yet? didn't he come to training camp in shape? and what happened to last year when he was playing a shit load of games at the end of the year...i mean they were mean nothing games but he didn't look out of place! |
another prospect the Canucks are fucking up what else is new |
PSA - game is on Shaw 302 tonight |
Tryamkin came into camp at 265 lbs. IIRC, he was at 228 lbs last season. I doubt he put on 37 lbs of muscle over the summer. |
That Russian diet tho Wasn't there some sort of confusion about his actual weight? Was it actually confirmed that it was 265? |
whatever the case may be, Willie and Management do not see him as good enough. and with news that they have asked his agent if he could go down to the AHL but was rejected, well it shows ya they already fucked this one up good |
you guys are overreacting, not like hes got top pairing potential. therefore hes not too hard to replace, especially when he should be realizing the ahl would be good for him. he could still make an agreement with the canucks and play 40in the ahl and stay up for 40, meaning he'd still get paid more than he would in the khl, or close to it |
Stecher making his debut tonight will be on 1st PP unit 0-100 real quick |

Last year, they were going off the KHL listed weight (228 lbs), though there was speculation that his weight was between 230-240 lbs when he arrived. WD confirmed Tryamkin on a conditioning program today. |
damn...even Chara doesn't weigh that much too much home-cookin lol Interesting to see how Jimbo and co will handle (of fuck this up) the situation |
they will handle it exactly as they are handling it right now, practice practice practice until he loses the weight and gets his conditioning to the NHL level. I don't see the issue with that at all and they are able to monitor his food which won't be the same if he went down to the AHL. |
^ The Canucks do own the Comets, so they could continue monitoring everything if they were inclined I think. |

Stecher better have fast wheels to avoid the big Ottawa forwards. -saw him listed as 5 foot 10, 178 lbs. Hopefully, Stecher can survive the staples to the boards. :troll: |
gotta love that "should i go get the puck? nah fuck it" play just now 0-1. |
Missed the first 2 periods because of class, but that 3rd was awful. Ottawa had no difficulty exiting their zone at all. 3 shots in the 3rd when down 2-0 is inexcusable. |
I feel bad for every canucks fan that paid money to see that garbage on ice tonight. At least Stecher looked like a good fit out there. Boho trying hard as usual. Henrik needs to shoot the damn puck when half the net is empty. |
that larsen + sbisa pairing is absolutely atrocious. not as bad as henrik trying to pass to daniel while he has an open net |

Weird that the Canucks keep saying Tryamkin is on their conditioning program when everyone from Benning, to WD, to Linden all said that he was making tremendous strides in the summer and he was in great shape. |
Loui needs to get moved to Bo's line and Hansen to the Sedins. The Sedins need a crasher. |
