When you enter it as much as we did trying to play Contra, you remember it for the rest of your life.

It's even harder when you have to add select to the code, we fucked up so many times LUL

Konami code was also used to access developer mode on Palm and HP webOS devices (possibly still on LG TVs? Haven't tried), so that's only going back several years.

We're having technical difficulties and are looking into the problem now.
FUCK I should have at least looked. I fucking hate sites that require you to make an account to even check shipping and payment methods.

If someone can help me get a pre-order I can pay via bitcoin or PP immediately. Let me know!

twitchyzero 07-22-2017 09:30 AM

quite a few on reddit and rfd reporting their walmart order got canned
don't know if it's a good or bad thing I did in-store pickup..fingers crossed

I hope it works for you but it'll probably get cancelled just like theirs.

Traum 07-22-2017 11:36 AM

Yawn... Lemme know when it's available for pre-order locally / in Canada.

twitchyzero 07-22-2017 12:12 PM

i was reading there wasn't even a pre-order for NES in Canada?
best just to try US retailers if you don't want to line-up/spam f5 on launch day

SkinnyPupp 07-27-2017 07:44 AM

Oops, moved to correct thread

My bet is that they tried to see if they could secure enough units to supply all these sales, but Nintendo said no LUL

Small update regarding preorders:

The SNES Classic has already had a tumultuous history, and it was only officially announced last month. But now, Nintendo has confirmed (really for real) that the system will actually (really) be available for pre-order later in August.

68style 08-08-2017 10:50 PM

What the fuck is wrong with Nintendo and producing their damn consoles?! Seriously... that big of a company? They're pretty stupid. How lame is it to walk into stores and constantly see the tiny little Nintendo area with no Switch consoles available... or NES Classic... or, well, anything really. All these things should be sitting in a huge area inside every video game retailer in the country.
