don't think i've ever seen Costco do pre-orders prior to the SNES Classic

From reading around, I think if you're there at open + give or take an one hour, you have a good chance of walking out of most places with one.

Walmart, Best Buy, and EBGames should be fine.

they seem to have an anti-hoarding system in place though...if you try to get a second one with the same account it says item is no longer available...open another browser/computer and it's fine
