NES classic and SNES classic use the same hardware according to some sites. Wonder if someone will be able to get both to run on one machine.

Actually figured it out, after carefully navigating through FNAC, the order is in transit.

if there are extra customs fees, they usually charge you @ the door when the package arrives

For the guys that ordered from fnac, apparently the product is subject to more duties/taxes. Item is being held in Montreal waiting for payment. I think they are just backlogged with contacting people to pay before they will release the product. I called in and paid $31.17 by Visa. The guy said it'll be picked up by purolater and delivered within a day or two. I think in the end, the EU unit is like $50-$55 more than buying the NA version.

Nintendo did a decent job increasing launch day supply for Canada this time...but still nowhere near meeting the demand...literally lol'd when bestbuy and ebgames had online stock depleted in one minute

I don't work in retail but from past experience(iphones, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Switch etc etc....) there is always new shipment but it won't but a lot more like 10 to 15 per store or less. You can still try your luck but chance are slim.

Awesome, yea they were working through the long list of people about brokerage fees. Mine arrived, packaging was a bit beat up though, small dent in the cardboard retail box. But no big deal.
