By total fluke, they were just as likely to end up killing themselves in the process. 0:58 they fire a shot out the door (I'm guessing into a street?), with like no clue what's beyond the guy. Then 1:12, 1:25, 1:30, 1:33, 1:43, 1:54, the mother or daughter is pointing a gun at the other with a finger on the trigger. 1:35 the daughter fires at the guy while he's struggling with the mother. A Canadian firearms course covers all this, and would fail you if you did anything like that.

These are complete morons who have no business handling a firearm, let alone owning the, yet in good ol' Murica it's not a problem and they seem to think they're capable of using them properly when they aren't even fucking close.

Obviously poor execution, but how can you not show support for these women defending themselves?

The key here is, learn how to use your fucking gun if you're going to own one!

Main point would be to have it on you if you intend to protect yourself with it.

Also maybe something with more than 6 rounds?

Oh and dump the damn whole thing into the guy if he's still coming at you!

Crazy video

you think if that women took one firearms course 20 years ago, she would have reacted any differently as adrenaline is pumping through her body and she is fighting for her life?

If a gun is something you're going to possibly use to protect your life in your day to day job wouldn't you want to perhaps know how to use it properly, instead of learning the bare minimum?

Training can only get you so far, experience is what counts. There are numerous examples in history where fresh, well trained, troops are bested by battle-tested soldiers in battle.

Sure but it's pretty obvious her training was "this is the trigger" and nothing more. Going to a shooting range and getting comfortable with the weapon would help immensely.

The US is the self sustaining (+ its client funded states, isreal, egypt, jordan, kenya, nigeria, columbia, south africa... ect) military wing of the ZioAmerican empire.
Its peoples brains are manipulated as infants to retard its 5 regions then supplement it with a cocktail of stimulants. School shootings are the extreme results.

So people fall into two groups, tax payers or soldiers.

The brainwashing and limited IQ of the western world is why people savagely die for a few hundred dollars worth as seen with this other store shooting recently.

With the female shooters, I believe they stupidly triggered the store door to be locked and confront the shooter... with the younger one almost shooting her own mom.

Handguns are extremely hard to be accurate with even at relatively close range.

If you give an inexperienced person a shitty cheap gun they’d have a hard time hitting s dinner plate at 10 feet

Bitches shoulda got a wheel gun, only need 1 round to hit lol

You said it man.
I just got into competitive pistol shooting called the steel challenge. 10 rds, minimum 9mm, 5 steel targets about 6m away. The quickest to hit all 5 targets wins.

Our best shooter did it in just over 2 seconds. But he is a damn good shot and practices often. I was just under 5 seconds, which is awesome for a rookie. But wouldn't cut it in real competition.

The bottom line is that it is very hard to hit a static target, let alone one that is moving. A 6" barrel doesn't offer much room for error.

If I was in her situation (American, needing to protect myself with a gun) I would be taking courses regularly to keep my main skills "automatic". Sure it won't beat "combat experience" but it will be better than almost having a tragic accident like they did!

I'd try to get the fuck out the area where I'd constantly need to protect myself with a gun. I really don't want to live in an area where I'm constantly worrying about people packing heat ...

Looking at that video they were more of a risk to themselves than the robber was. That's a pretty bad defense.

ANYTHING would be an improvement for those two.

Completely agree.. I think one of the most practical and reasonable gun controls laws that could be passed would be a PAL-like system, a relatively easy to pass license that you have to renew every 5 years

You don't actually have to fire a gun during your licensing. It wasn't until I really got into the tactical side that we started doing training with live fire. The first few times you're around live fire training or competing is pretty crazy. I could never imagine what an actual gunfight would be like.

I wonder if a lot of these school shootings don't have to do with massive underreporting of crimes in k-12 to create deceptively low statistics.
Usually rewarded with government grants.
