Visas you should be able to tap up to $200/$250

And Chevron pumps have tap, no need to insert your card or tap inside.

I didn't see any tap options at the pump for the Chevron I went to the other day. STupid machine caused my CC to lock due to too many pin attempts FailFish

In the US, it seems like summer blend is required between May 1 to Sept 15, although retailers could start selling them as early as April 1 and as late as Oct 31.

Not sure what our Canadian rules are though...

Gas pumps are displaying 2.229 :heckno:

AzNightmare 05-08-2022 05:01 AM

lol, by habit, I usually put $100 limit and that would be well enough for a full tank. Yesterday, when the pump stopped, I thought my tank was full but then I realized I hit the $100 cut off first.

12th and Clark stations have been holding strong at 211.9 for 2 days now when others I see are 216 or 222.

EvoFire 05-08-2022 07:16 AM

^ The Shell at 12 and Clark is always a little cheaper for some reason

Badhobz 05-08-2022 07:29 AM

You changed your goomba!!!

If you don't mind me asking what did you do in Germany? Sounds fantastic!

JDMDreams 05-08-2022 09:11 AM

Pr can am was still $1.26 or $1.439 for premium, :okay: can't complain better than Canada's bs taxes

bcrdukes 05-08-2022 10:10 AM

RIP Goomba

Do you guys think that with 91 hitting almost $2.50, that we will see a major shift from luxury SUV daily's down to smaller engines or EV's?

Or do you think that this price increase is non-material for this segment. Since the overall increase is really around $300 - 2,000 depending on engine size and KM driven

I think they are all focusing on EV's. In Canada they got till 2035 then it's the end for new ICE sales.

twitchyzero 05-08-2022 11:03 AM

efficient beater/commuter class moves super quickly on the used market

Luxury SUV is quite a broad term so it depends on the segment of luxury SUVs you're referring to. The $100k+ Range Rover / GLS / X7 crowd won't shift their behaviour much if at all with gas prices, plus they don't have a direct full-EV replacement right now - I can't see them downsizing to something like an iX or EQS SUV.

I think there's already a big shift in the $50-80k luxury compact/midsize segment: the Mach E, Ioniq 5, Model Y, etc. are all decent replacements against its ICE competitors. If not full EV, there are still the X3 / NX / XC60 plug-in hybrids that fit that segment.

I worked for the ports in Vancouver, then i got offered a pretty big paybump to go to HQ for steamship company and after 2 horrible years of lockdowns and pandemic related bs, i got sick of the horrible food and we moved back. :concentrate:

We didnt even sell our place in Richmond, we just rented it and kicked them out when we came back. Overall it was pretty interesting, but nothing like being home. You cant get good asian food to save your life in Germany.

Im going back to Germany in June to do some more special projects, but its only for a week or so.

JDMDreams 05-08-2022 11:46 AM

But ze autobahn, well it's $2.229 today so probably $2.5 for regular by summer

Gerbs 05-08-2022 01:19 PM

Who would've expect paying for $2/L for 91 and $3/L in the same year lol. Gotta make more monies.

Electric infrastructure won't be there to support majority EV sales. As someone would call it, the fog of energy ignorance.

Went to the can-am in point roberts Friday night. Zero traffic, took like 8 minutes. Shell in Ladner was $2.43/L for 92. Can am was…. A lot cheaper

Brought down two 20L Jerry cans as well. Essentially got 40L free when you compare the price of filling up the 65L Subaru tank in canada

Never the RS. First time with the STi, but she’s already done 280k km on the stock ej257. At this point it’s earned a catastrophic failure. So unknown quality 92 for pennie’s is good with me
