Man I thank my lucky stars that we no longer have to use a vehicle for daily commute at all anymore. My wife getting her new job downtown in February was so timely. |
Yah, add the time and the gas to get to Pt Roberts .. nor worth it. Unless you're picking up a parcel or something in Blaine, grab a taco, or some oysters, and an ice cream at Edaleen. |

go higher and higher until 10 dollar per litre |
shouldn't half of your list be reflected in the crude price? everything before refining i mean the pricing stretched over years isn't unreasonable but to go from 87c to 240c in 24 months is wild regardless of the factors |
I'm just a dumb plumber stirring the pot, i have no idea where a "crude barrel" sits on that list Moreso a post, to point out there's alot more involved than: barrel 90$, so litre = 1$ Even if a barrel is half way down the list, often times companies will lose money in the early process, but make up for it in the end process, and vice versa |
iirc pump price isn't only dependent on crude price, if there's any refinery/transport/etc costs that'll bump it up too. but it was still weird getting laid off from an oil and gas job while gas prices kept going up. |

HOWEVER - i would NOT store my jerries next to my damn groceries like this guy: https://i.imgur.com/0uqWmM1.jpg BUT if gas prices keep going up - I may need a 'few' more Jerry cans like this guy: https://i.imgur.com/GNRoR3P.png |
Is there a life benefit to scrutinizing to the penny your gas costs, especially when you drive a luxury car and live in practically a mansion? Who cares? I live in a condo and I don’t even look at the price of gas when I pull into a station. I need it, it goes in, it costs whatever. Ain’t nobody got time for that / no awards being given out. |

 and please...the RDX is not a luxury vehicle. |

Remember the early 00's when gas prices would fluctuate like 3 times a day in Vancouver and you'd have lineups down the streets for the drops. All to save like $5 back then. My time is worth more than that. |

^ I only drink sparkling water from France |
Unless you live within 5 minutes of the border, you’re basically saying your time is worthless to cross and fill Jerry cans.. It’s honestly embarrassing to see people in X5’s etc. with a trunk full of cans. These are probably the same type that roll up in the X5 to a food bank. That’s just the elevated version of $200 in the bank with a $1000 Gucci belt |
for the argument of historical crude price vs gas price there's many other aspects that have also increased during that time. Every person involved wages have increased, taxes have increased etc |

not sure how often winter tires get swapped, how many cans of fuel he crosses the border with, what car and what his house looks like has any impact on your life? |
Brought it into our lives / opened it for discussion posting it all up here with opinions attached  |
68style has had a 'man crush' on : - my winter tires - my ACURAs - my houses - my jerry cans loaded with premium - my posts - ME .... i think he fell in love with me during the importclassified days ... not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just a good looking guy - https://memegenerator.net/img/instances/50658327.jpg |
new display pic is appropriate for meme content lol |
would drive me crazy pouring all those fucking jerry cans inside my truck or car. at that point, why not throw a 400 liter red fuel storage with a electric self pump on back of a truck and call it a day. |
Import one of those JDM fire trucks and change the tank to fill gas. |
