What I find really interesting and bizzare about Korean politics is -- pretty much all the presidents get sued and thrown into jail after they finish their term. And yet politicians continue to run for the position. If I know my a$$ is gonna get thrown into jail by the next president / government after stepping down, I am either: 1) not going to run, and just stay at some regional level thing where I can continue to abuse my power / lap up the gravy train, or 2) not step down and turn the presidency into some sort of no term limit dictatorship type of gig, and prosecute anyone who tries to defy me |
As I suspected, the Korean "self-coup" is a Big Nothingburger. Or should I say a Big Nothingbulgogi. |
Awww booo… I was hoping this stops those K-pop faggots from creating more music |

Time Magazine named Hitler, Man (person) of the Year. Looks like history repeats itself. I mean he is a person who is constantly in the news. Good or bad............... https://time.com/7201547/person-of-t...-trump-choice/ |
Trump and Elon have been referring to Canada as a state, and the prime minister as its governor The people cheering for them are complete cucks that make Canadians look bad. How humiliating. You know you guys are fucked, right? |

Total cuck behavior by Canadians accepting this |
I don't think it's cuck behaviour... it's more like if you reacted to every stupid thing Trump says you'd spend every day doing nothing but reacting. Best thing to do with a bully/troll is ignore unless it's legal or you're capable of bullying back... which we aren't. |

It’s our wonderful leader who accepts it. Everyone else is embarrassed. |
Are we? I just rolled my eyes and said "Asshole" I'm not embarrassed. Are people that insecure that we have to feel shame over what a criminal con artist says? |

The same ones that call JT a dictator but would gladly have an actual dictator as long as they demanded everyone be as retarded as they are. |
Trump has rolled back on his promise on lowering grocery prices, saying it's "very hard". No fucking shit Sherlock. https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...gender-rights/ This was literally one of his primary campaign promises and he's already pulling a turncoat on that prior to reentering office :lol You gotta love it. |
Haha fucker is going to 180 on every single thing he said before he even is inaugurated. What a fucking stupid population it's gotta be to not have learned the first time. |
Some one lied on the campaign trail, news at 11 |
Most politicians are able to at least fail at it once they are in office instead of not bothering before they even get there. |

To turn around and renege before taking office is pretty nuts, it's just amazing that so many of the electorate believed him in the first place. Perhaps they didn't, and none of this matters, maybe they're like Honda and sticking it to the Libs is simply the primary policy agenda. I'm starting to think inflation, the economy, are simply buzz words that voters like to say, but have zero relation on their voting preferences. |
1st policy of Trump that many of us would support. I recall many voicing the stupidity of DST. BC already passed a bill to end it and we were just waiting for Washington to end it. Trump wants to turn the clock on daylight saving time https://vancouver.citynews.ca/2024/1...t-saving-time/ |
There was also talk of capping credit card interest rates, another good policy, but I'm not sure if that will also be reversed |
