It simply means being white will never count against you in any way, whether you are rich/poor or a saint/sinner. A rich white person is always just "a rich person". A white criminal is just a "criminal"
The same can't be said about other races some of whom have been in North America/Europe for generations.
If some black guy commits a murder, there will inevitably be a comment in the article about how their entire race is predisposed to violence. If an Asian person makes it rich it's because he's a robot and they're genetically predisposed to being good at Science/Math/kung fu/whatever. None of this shit applies to White people. People don't troll racist shit in articles about White people.

And yet somehow you guys are ok when the policies are made so that it's ok to have a prejudice against one race (white, mostly... believing they don't need it) while giving a pass or benefit to another?!? :suspicious:
IMO, the decision should always be merit based and race neutral. It's like how we provide disability benefits... they are given by the merit that this group of people have certain physical disadvantage/limitation and the benefit are given so that they can live out their life. It doesn't matter what color you are.
Any policy made without race neutrality is just asking for trouble down the road. If you create a benefit for "African-American", what is stopping for Chinese-American, Indian-American... so on to ask for their own version? Why does black get preferential treatment? Heck... anyone should be able to claim they are African decent as all human emerged from Africa. |
