The court saved him from the TACO nickname (Trump Always Chickens Out) that was gaining steam
It really is crazy though, right before they were about to face the consequences of his actions, he gets bailed out. Things were going to get so FUCKED. Which I know some people here want to happen, but it would have been awful (and don't think the rest of the world wouldn't have been affected). But nope, he got bailed out. Again. So really this is proof that the 'checks and balances' seem to work decently well.

Some tariffs still exist though - I saw a list on CBC briefly - for example the auto, steel and aluminium tariffs on us are still on.

And how does the tariffs being illegal affect the retailitory tariffs that Canada has imposed on US goods?
The situation has flip flopped so many times that I have honestly lost track. I only seem to think that CUSMA goods are all exempted from tariffs, except that the auto, steel and aluminum tariffs are still on.
