| It's still pretty fuzzy what exactly was in violation though it's more likely than not that these Korean workers were technically in violation of their B1 (or similar visa) - however the violation likely were also of the type that normally gets swept under the rug (I know plenty of tech workers who travel to US HQs on B1s who totally violate the visa - "meetings" yeah sure).
Regardless, shackling up workers like this is banana republic stuff.

-gonna be interesting to see how Trump responds after an investigation is done about the shooter.
A 60 year old white dude? Is he a Republican? A MAGA? Is he a Democrat supporter?
IF the shooter is identified as a Democrat, is Cheeto going to spin this incident to his advantage to sow more seeds of division in the US? Put the blame of the shooting on Democrats?
If the shooter is a Republican, a MAGA, well, that is different story. 
Regardless of whether which party this shooter votes for, political violence is never right.
Capital punishment for this suspect? First degree murder that involves a politician. This guy is gonna get cooked.

Witness at event says there were no security measures to enter event
From CNN's Taylor Romine
Raydon Dechene, who attended Charlie Kirk’s event at Utah Valley University, said that there were no security measures in place to screen people or even take their tickets.
The event did not have metal detectors and no one checked bags, which Dechene said “felt off” during an interview with CNN’s Kasie Hunt.
Before the shooting, Dechene said the people at the event were having fun talking and doing chants like “USA.”
