I've had way too many arguments with acquittances over the last few days over this fucking guy along the lines of "PRoVE tO Me hE's RaCISt", "SHoW ME hOW hE HuRT PEoPLe!". As if those are valid arguments, or that there is some type of statistical data one can present on a silver platter to refute that kind of rebuttal. Never in my life would I think I'd spend so much energy talking about this asshat. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but Kirk also put together a hit list of professors that he deemed "leftist", most of these teachers were either black or brown, conveniently enough. https://www.professorwatchlist.org/ Some of these teachers have received death threats among other things as a result of this stupid website. Would Kirk or his supporters shed a tear if one of these teachers were killed by some nutjob who followed his views? Doubt it. |
He can’t be racist he had a black friend! |
yeah he had an uncle tom black friend, not some sort of black activist black friend. of course you're going to want those white apologist type friends in your circle if you are a propagandist, its good for optics. the same reason trump used to have nothing but minorities behind him at his rallies. he would find all 10 of them in the crowd and stick them there so nobody can claim he's a racist. |
^He actually had a guy he paid to be at his rallies. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_the_Black_Man You can't make this stuff up :lol |

"If he called someone the N word people would still defend him!" Did he call someone the N word? Pretty sure he didn't. Someone posted a video of him allegedly saying Chink and that was bullshit, but who cares right he said mean stuff let's just run with it! I don't care for what his values are, religion makes me sick, but it's laughable when people are comparing him to the likes of fucking Bin Laden, get real. |
Of course he didn’t call someone the N word. He’s smart enough to tread the lines so that he can manipulate his followers into somehow saying he’s not racist when saying things like “these women (a group of black women) don’t have the intelligence for these roles so they had to steal them from a white person” Oh but the context! That’s not racist when you hear the other parts! What’s the context that made that not racist? Enlighten me. |

And you have more outrage to the person that assassinated kirk than the multiple people that have shot up schools, night clubs, movie theatres and malls. Go stand on your moral victory podium. |

I think what people hate is that he walked such a line without ever losing his shit and there's anger that the smoking gun isn't quite there in the way they want it to be. The left would love nothing more than some secret convo of him dropping the N word came out so they can go "see!! He deserved to die". Sorry, he was an asshole but didn't deserve to be murdered. Bin Laden yes, Kirky no. |

Most people are simply saying why is so much energy being devoted for this otherwise flawed individual. Flags half massed for him, but not for the dead Minnesota congressman, for example. We're simply acknowledging that words matter, and when you throw that kind of hate out there, it can come back your way. Live by the sword, you can die by the sword as a public figure such as himself. Salman Rushdie is a perfect example of that. I'm a fan of the guy, as a public figure he spoke a lot about Muslims which put himself in constant danger. He's had numerous assassination attempts on his life, and he knows his view attracts danger, but he's accepted that risk. Charlie Kirk is no different. If someone on this forum was diagnosed with cancer and I come on here laughing at them, would it be reasonable to expect sympathy if I myself were diagnosed with cancer thereafter? |

I love when 'karma' gets someone, but I have limits on that and this was above and beyond what he actually deserved in my opinion. |

I’ve never said once here I was glad he was murdered. What I’m disgusted by is the fact that people are treating him as he was some beacon of hope in the world while doing nothing but enhancing division for an exorbitant paycheque. He was killed because of the exact cause that he championed. Guns should be in the hands of every American because it’s their right, given by god (I don’t know of anything in the bible about “Americans get guns” but I haven’t read it that closely in recent memory) and any violence or deaths as a result are an unfortunate necessity. If he truly believes that, then anyone who wants to truly honour his memory, should end it at “well that’s unfortunate, but it was worth it so the murderer could have his rights.” |

i mean when some fucker cuts me off, i wish he was dead. in that moment yes, he should have been killed.... but a few minutes later i dont recall what even happened. |

If that's what he said then yeah it's fucked up, if he said something different than that but someone dumbed it down to the bare bones and are saying "he basically thinks black people are dumb" then I'd like to hear the conversation, that's all. |

He VRYALT3R3D you listen to rap music? This one is for you. |
Ya he's not paraphrasing, Mark. It's a dog whistle through and through, he's indicating that if he sees a pilot that is black, it's a DEI hire. Who the fuck says that? I've flown on countless flights, visited 5 continents, and many countries within. I've never boarded a plane and did a face check on the damn pilot to deem them illegitimate based on their race. He knows what the fuck he's trying to do there, give me a break. He's made that same comparison as well towards black women, sating black women don't carry the "brain processing power" to be taken seriously. He's also stated passing the Civil Rights Act is a "huge mistake." That's an odd level of dog whistling to somehow say his words shouldn't be taken literally. Why is he being given so much leeway? |
Referring to several prominent black women who have said affirmative action helped them get into schools that they may not have been able to attend. (Due to socioeconomic reasons or policies that would have previously not given them the opportunity to attend that school. “You do not have the brain processing power to be taken seriously, you had to go take white persons spot” That’s fuckin verbatim. That’s racist. That’s bullshit. Now, tell me why it isn’t, because you seem quite sure that it was meant in some sort of other context, even though it’s continually been posted, clear as day what is meant by that. |
This whole Kirk crap from the right reminds me of the hypocrisy in the arguments used against George Floyd, another very flawed individual. "Ohhhh he had a prior record" "He used drugs before" "He was a piece of shit person" Character assassinations, excuses, and rationalizations were used to support his death by the officers involved. Somehow it's expected a similar endeavor won't apply to Kirk? Funny that. |

All 3 of these people have lied about the findings of the medical examiner that placed the cause of death being due to asphyxiation and heart failure primarily from officer Chauvins knee placed on Floyd’s neck for upwards of NINE minutes and now it’s unacceptable to speak ill of the dead apparently, to the point of attempting to pass new laws that remove free speech about Charlie Kirk’s death specifically. It’s a fucking joke. |
