If this is the best Conservatives can offer in terms of ideas and opinions then good riddance. Modern day Conservatives have wandered so far from the origins of Conservatism that they don't deserve to call themselves that. They want big govt when it's for them, small govt when it's for others, they want rules for thee but not for them. Most modern day Cons are just grifters- so few are genuinely decent people who just believe in less intervention and have a preference for how things have always been done.

At least the Commies and Socialists are consistent - they want big gov't for everyone, they want it in everyone's house, and they think rich people are bad.

The suit was filed on Thursday in federal court in Florida. Trump, who filed the suit alongside his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, is suing the IRS and Treasury personally, not in his official capacity as president.

The lawsuit alleged that the government failed to protect Trump and the Trump Organization’s confidential tax information, which was leaked to the press by Charles Littlejohn, a former IRS contractor.

In 2024, Littlejohn was sentenced to five years in prison for disclosing thousands of tax returns without authorization – from Trump and thousands of other wealthy individuals.

All of the above plus Iran, Greenland, Canada spat, Minnesota, suing IRS (who he is the head of the administration of), Federal reserve chair ... conveniently distracts from 3 million more docs, videos, etc. released by DOJ on Epstein files.

So now we know why he has to collect so much tariffs for the US coffers, so that he can sue the IRS and get $10B.
