I hope the Orange Man-Child's attention span on Greenland will run out soon, and then he moves on to do something else to piss someone else off. Unfortunately, I also feel like we're gonna come back into his firing line since we would inevitably have to begin CUSMA negotiations with the US. It is not going to be pretty, and I am increasingly convinced that CUSMA is just gonna fall apart.

On a different note, with Trump's latest tweet about capping credit card interest rate at 10%, the repercussions are are gonna rock the entire US economy if his administration really follows through on it. And when those repercussions hit, I am almost certain that he is going to blame the financial and banking sector for being greedy while claiming that he is the saviour trying to help the poor. I haven't quite figured out how he can possibly capitalize on the opportunity to line his own pockets with this, but I would not at all be surprised if he somehow finds a way to do so.

I think sometimes we should take what's happening and what's being said more seriously than calling a peaceful protestor a cunt or or encouraging the death of your neighbours when the current villains are saying and doing the exact same thing that the last set of Western villains did.

Trump may have dementia and limited cognitive capabilities but he's supported by the modern day Goring and Goebbels. His backers have been telegraphing their plans for months/years and they've followed their playbook pretty much 1:1 so far with both the legislative and judicial branches laying prostrate for Trump.

Denmark has said it would protect Greenland. If the US attacks it means Nato goes to war.
What a time line to live in.

Interesting thing about Greenland and Denmark is that many people in Greenland aren’t too fond of Denmark because they want independence. So would Denmark go to war with America to defend a country that might get independence in the future?

And Trump claims he wants Greenland to fight off Russia and China, but destroying NATO would be the greatest gift America could give Putin because one of the reasons why he went to war with Ukraine was because they were getting close to becoming a NATO member. The more you look at Trump’s behaviour, the more you have to start believing he’s a Russian asset.
