Pretty clear poor immigration policies have been disastrous for both the UK and France.
Lmao I took an uber with a guy from Nigeria and he told us how much he admires Mark Carney when he was the head of the Bank of England and told us how racism has gotten much better in the UK as his daughter has grown up there for 18 years since when he came, how sad he is about Trump and that he loves London so much and some bad areas are turning nicer and he feels like things are headed in a good direction.

On paper the notion of assimilation isn't unreasonable yet when folks like you say it (the way you say it and your prior record/comments) it can't help but come across as racist. It was only last week where you showed your racist misogyny by being triggered by a fat Muslim women and you've admitted to being banned on a sub-Reddit for your racism.
Maybe there's a slim chance that you're not really racist like you claim but there sure is a lot of smoke.
More broadly, the notion of assimilation and belief that newcomers aren't adapting is a trope as old as time. In the past it was the Irish then the Italians then the Jews then the Chinese. Now it's Arabs and Indians. It was racist back then, it's racist today.
Today, Asian immigrants are widely accepted but I'm old enough to remember being shouted at by white people. I have family members who have experienced the "You people" accusations. It was us that were the baddies back then who didn't "want" to assimilate, now it's the Arabs and Indians getting that rap.

I couldn’t care less what anyone looks like. I’m sure you’ll spin this whatever way you like but growing up I had friends of all races, never thought twice about someone unless I went over to their house and their cultural norms were so out of wack was like hmm.. ok ? lol but even then I never once thought badly of people or “hated” anyone because they were different. Growing up my best friend was Vietnamese and in high school playing rugby I remember a guy tossing him down and saying some stupid shit like “fucking gross chink” or somthing. I got tossed from the game cause I booted the guy in the ribs after that and I remember it being totally jarring to me even back then that some clown would just be like blatantly racist with 20+ people within the vicinity.
But if you’re bringing your religious beliefs here.. ehhhh…
Pretty obviously the Burqa hijab ban outlined in the aforementioned article is due to what it represents, oppression of women.
The head scarfs are just the gateway drug there.
I would never associate with anyone on a personal level decked out in some Burqa because it’s blatantly obvious this person and I have EXTREMELY different views on the world.

This version of the liberals is just as far away as what I outlined as ideal as the conservatives are. Again, the fact that a decade of this has resulted in worse outcomes for pretty much everyone outside the wealthy elite kinda underlines the liberals don’t give a fuck about these social issues either.
