Canucks are predictable at times. There's not enough pressure. Looking at Colorado and Dallas when the Canucks played them recently, their star players were dominant ALL the time (MacKinnon and Benn) and their teams were always buzzing. It's really hard to play them.

BTW, MacKinnon is crazy good. Benn gives Dallas some serious skill and leadership. Imagine if Petty becomes like a MacKinnon.

Still don’t get why MacEwen is playing on the top line and Graovac is playing on PP2. MacEwen has done fuck all and, aside from the deflection goal from Graovac, ditto. Neither of them have proven to be defensive stalwarts, either. MacEwen had some super soft clearing attempts last game, one resulting in a goal against.

For a team that can’t score at even-strength, they sure aren’t giving themselves any help with personnel decisions. Baertschi has double the amount of points in 6 games with 11 minutes/game of ice time as Eriksson, Graovac, and MacEwen combined (Graovac with the lone point).

Graovac is a centre. Macewen size.

Eriksson keeps the bench warmer than Baertschi does I guess? Lol

Those two will be replaced soon with Ferland and Roussel when they are back.

A rare move considering the coaching brotherhood usually stays mum about these things.

May explain why he resigned his position in Carolina.

Carcillo disclosing stuff about Darryl Sutter. Another old school coach getting called out. Firing of Babcock continues to have ripple effect.

spoon.ek9 11-27-2019 11:02 AM

did anyone else see zach boychuk's response to the Peters thing on twitter? i think he's since deleted it lol

bobbinka 11-27-2019 11:33 AM

#metoo

Hondaracer 11-27-2019 11:59 AM

Carcillo seems like a real whiney POS IMO

Out of the game now he just grasping at any straws he can latch onto to try and stay relevant

spoon.ek9 11-27-2019 04:43 PM

oh man, crazy second period! so awesome.

Jmac 11-27-2019 04:50 PM

So many lucky goals, pretty much all the goals Vancouver got were kind of hilarious.

Murray got pulled in both games vs Vancouver in 17/18, watched from the bench for both games last year, and pulled in the first game vs Vancouver this season. Yet to finish a game in his career vs Vancouver. You’ve got to look at some of those starts and just laugh.

TjAlmeida 11-27-2019 05:15 PM

Benn is terrible on the puck, I think we were better off with Biega on the bottom pairing.

bobbinka 11-27-2019 05:22 PM

Lol

FailFishFailFishFailFish this team...

RiceIntegraRS 11-27-2019 08:11 PM

was it not offside? looks like Malkin put himself offside......

spoon.ek9 11-28-2019 06:46 AM

this team is definitely not reliable enough defensively to be a playoff contender. huge steps forward this season so far but I just can't be confident in them long term this year. if we happen to make it into the playoffs, I absolutely don't expect them to win a series.

Ruling is the person bringing the puck into the zone can go in first before the puck as long as they are in control of the puck.

The issue is that what defines in control of the puck?

A person stick handling is technically in control of the puck but a few times goals have been called back because the player deemed offside because the puck wasn't on the stick.

Jmac 11-28-2019 10:19 AM

I assumed the Canucks were thinking Guentzel was in early as the puck maybe didn’t fully cross the blue line until after he was in.
