After that hit on Kassian in the first where he put him on his ass next to the blue line, I knew he would be injured before the end of the game.

Eriksson's streak of scoring in games resulting in a win continues :fulloffuck:

fucking loui eriksson. wtf man. this game is on him. TWO stupid penalties.

bobbinka 12-01-2019 09:34 PM

you mean the two incidents nurse embellished?

fsy82 12-02-2019 02:35 PM

This has to be the dumbest schedule for an NHL team. They go on a 6 game two week road trip than end it with a home and home. Essentially a 7 game road trip. Edmonton had a 5 game road trip and got 3 days off. The team was clearly tired last night and it showed.

whitev70r 12-02-2019 03:55 PM

^basically 82 games for regular season is too much, ideally they should cut it to 72 and start playoffs earlier.

Marc Crawford put on leave by Blackhawks because of past abuse allegations as coach of LA Kings.

Johan Franzen adds stories of Babcock's abusive coaching tactics. Guess what troubles me is that Babcock is an advocate for Mental Health, Bell Let's Talk and he didn't realize his tactics was causing exactly the thing that he wanted to help and support.

bobbinka 12-02-2019 06:30 PM

alright, which teams are ahead in the division? time for some allegations against those coaches to surface

eclipseman 12-02-2019 06:32 PM

Well, Kenny Holland was Babcock's boss in Detroit...surely he knew something...

highfive 12-02-2019 06:33 PM

Didn’t holland tell the players either they ask for a trade or play?

Markstrom granted leave for dad's memorial service.

Quote:

Just over two weeks ago, Vancouver Canucks goaltender Jacob Markstrom revealed his father had passed away from cancer in an emotional post on Instagram. The Swede didn’t play last night but in warm-ups, his opponent between the pipes on the other side, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray, offered some good wishes in response to the passing. Murray also lost his father in January of 2018.

Hmm. What I'm seeing now are the lack of finishing checks, crisp d to d passing in the defensive zone (fantenburg was an exception), too much aerial outlets or passes and way too much dump and chase without proper timing for someone to retrieve the puck.

Let's go boys...

FWIW, the allegations against Crawford are from Sean Avery.

Ch28 12-03-2019 07:42 AM

I believe Brent Sopel also talked about how Crow laid into him many times during his Canucks run, but he also made it sort’ve sound like it’s one of those “boys will be boys” things.

Burrows going into the Ring of Honour tonight so it’ll be exciting to see him back in Vancouver. I’m gonna try and get there before 6pm to get one of the Burrows bobble heads for the first 10000 fans.

Jmac 12-03-2019 08:16 AM

Keenan, Tortorella, Boudreau, and Laviolette are probably breathing a sigh of relief that their abuse was already well-documented before this recent series of events.

highfive 12-03-2019 08:25 AM

I’m just waiting to hear about Pierre mcguires being coach... lol
