Schneider has had a rough go with injuries the last few years. Probably done

Fuck I feel so bad for him. I loved him when he was here and even after he got traded. Sucks to see another career taken away by injuries.

He was part of our best goaltending duo (thus far). I feel bad for the guy too.

Schneids is like getting $6M/yr for 2 more years to play in AHL. He can take team out for dinner on every road trip.

i'd say it's more like his injury woes suck. $6mil is what we pay eriksson. I'd much rather have a healthy Schneider than fuckin Loui.

When they moved Hughes to the 1st unit, it became a dynamic and dangerous unit ...

Then Newell Brown got his hands on it, now everyone is stationary again, easy to defend, pass it around the outside and take one-timers from 50 ft out (if they even get the chance). Basically the same as when Edler was on it but with better zone entries and a worse point shot.

Defense was bad tonight, hasn’t been great lately. Seems like the forwards are always flying the zone early and centre support hasn’t been the best. Goaltending isn’t bailing them out the past few weeks.

Special teams seem overcoached, even-strength seems undercoached. Kind of bizarre.

^i think it’s more of teams seeing through our pp and taking the space away and that Hughes doesn’t have the shot and he relies on passing or skating out of that position.

That and everyone hesitates to shoot.
