Meh Mrazek went down soccer style. That was nothing... if this is what makes headlines these days as egregious in the NHL, the people writing it haven’t watched the sport for very long.

I’m all for player safety but hockey is a high emotion, physical sport and a key differentiator the NHL shouldn’t shy away from and capitalize more on IMO.

Canucks have 9 afternoon/morning (1 PM Pacific start time or earlier) games this season. I don’t know how many we had in years past, I want to guess probably 2-3 a season, but 9 seems very high.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I thoroughly enjoyed Saturdays game time. I dont remember the last time I went to a game that early but it was a better atmosphere. I guess less drunks and more families.

I enjoy it when there's a few afternoon games a year, but the Canucks have already played 5 morning/afternoon games and we've only had 9 weekends so far this season.

If it's a few a year, I can plan around it, but fuck man, I don't want to write off a day every other weekend in order to watch the Canucks. I got shit to do.

Looking at schedules for this season and the previous 4 seasons, there's a marked uptick in afternoon/morning games ...
