Now that's how a national anthem should be sung................... straight forward.
None of this, nasal, pop singer, head voice splattered with useless embellishments that'll make even Mariah Carey blush.
The reverb was a little overkill, but chick did a really good job.
I hate our national anthem being butchered by "look at me, look at me," types.

I still believe in Demko. The guy is still young and needs more experience. Look at how long it took Markstrom to get there.
We can't all expect a goalie like Binnington to drop out of the sky!

Demko is still young, but I’m sure a lot of people are thinking that maybe the repeat concussions with Demko has had an affect on his game. Markstrom was a very late bloomer, I don’t think he was considered a top starting goalie till he was I think 28 years old.

He received precisely 1 3rd place vote in Vezina voting last year and 0 in all years prior.
Markstrom was a top goaltending prospect when he was drafted and continued to be so until he came to North America. Unfortunately, Florida lacked the development resources that most teams have (e.g. dedicated goaltending coach in the NHL, dedicated goaltending coach or goaltending consultant for their AHL affiliate, etc.), so Markstrom's stock fell considerably as he fell behind the development curve. He's definitely a reclamation project that has turned out, although it took longer than I expected (I recall saying he'd be a bonafide #1 by the time Miller's contract was up and he wasn't, obviously).
