Anybody try this xCloud thing where you can play GamePass games via cloud from your android or computer? Maybe I am just old but this technology is mindblowing. I was already blown away by being able to remote play my xbox via my phone, but this cloud gaming is crazy. People are complaining about lag and all, but the fact you get these graphics via the cloud is like... magic. |
It's not available in my region, but I can't see how the lag wouldn't bother me. I don't even like using wireless mice and keyboards, and I can't use Steamlink For most people it's great though! |
Yeah the lag is not quite playable with lower internet speeds but its still crazy impressive. But it reminds me of that Louis CK joke about complaining about slow wifi on airplanes. |
I just subscribed to PSNow just to play RDR again. It's not bad, there is a tiny bit of lag in places, however plays well. What are you guys playing on your PS5? Currently re-playing FF7 with the Intergrade upgrade. Casually playing God Of War when I get bored. Patiently waiting for a RDR2 PS5 upgrade. |
Was playing Horizon Zero Dawn, but then the Yuffie DLC for FFVII came out and I finished it. Haven't been interested in Horizon again, so been playing Nioh 2. Will probably play Person 4 Golden or Persona 5 Strikers after and then rotate back to Horizon once I have nothing else to play. |
^^^^ I played horizon for a bunch of hours but it felt too slow for me. I couldn't get invested in it, everything felt like a grind. |
I just finished Days Gone recently, I ended up getting the platinum for it. Really enjoyed it for the most part, felt like it was getting a little long by the end but it was pretty intense when you're getting chased down by a hoard and it runs great on PS5. Anyways it's free if you have PS Plus so worth a shot |
I found Horizon to be so fucking hard in a kind of annoying way. So many enemies all around you, I found it hard to pick one out of a herd and maintain a 1 v 1 fight without getting ganked by others. Maybe I had to use traps or something I dunno |
I will shamelessly admit I played Horizon on easy, but I mainly play games for the storyline. And Horizon's is excellent. Currently playing AC:V on PS5, it's a bit of a grind but overall pretty fun. |
I found Horizon wasn't too bad after I was leveled up enough. Being able to slow down time for a shot and having the shoot 3 arrows at once skill made it able to one shot a lot of enemies. I enjoyed it for awhile but after that I just rushed through the main story because I was kind of over it. I'll definitely try out Forbidden West at some point when it's out, but probably after it's like half price. |
If anyone is interested, I bought a spare ps5 bundle for a friend who doesn't seem to want it anymore. It's Ps5 Disc with a spare controller, taxes in $807.54, have it at cost. |
Any PS5 to be had lately? I’ve only been watching Costco no stock in the last month or so |

Owned my PS5 for almost half a year now, and still haven't played a single game on it. This has been the worst next-gen roll out in terms of available releases I've ever seen. To this day there still isn't a true PS5 game (that isn't on PS4) that I feel like playing. |

Haven't finished em, and still got stacks of games for my ps4 that I haven't opened yet I just think I may not be much of a gamer anymore :lol |
I think that's probably the case. Nowadays maybe 1 one 2 games a year pique my interest at this point. It seems nowadays games are going in a different direction then perhaps us older gamers don't find appealing. That KOTOR remake has be excited though. |
It's possible that these big AAA games just aren't appealing to you anymore... Maybe some random one will be, but also a random smaller game might be as well. I've been finding this for myself, as I'll get really REALLY into a random game, but absolutely hate another more popular game. This is why, for me, Game Pass is such a great thing. I don't have to take a chance on the big release from EA or whoever.. I just see what's new, check it out, and maybe I'll get hooked. I got addicted to SnowRunner for instance and put hundreds of hours into it. Never played another game like it, and probably won't again, but that game at that time was just right for me. But I tried the last couple Star Wars games and they were merely fine. Humankind is another I was raving about. And now I am back into Apex again. But I hated Control, which was a HUGE highly acclaimed title. Just try stuff out, you never know what you're going to like. And if you bought a PS5 instead of an Xbox One X.. well don't say I didn't try to warn you Kappa |
^I'm actually thinking about posting my PS5 on FB/CL to trade it for an Xbox One X :lol Never thought that would be something I'd ever consider, been a PS guy from the get go. |
I mean ps plus has a tonne of games on it too I still haven't played the last uncharted and kingdom hearts game or Final fantasy and any of the other major titles And I was waiting for kingdom hearts for like decades :lol I've got the Xbox too but it's still sitting in its box I'm playing games like sudoku on my phone a lot tho :lol |
Doesn't PS Plus only give access to the games that became available while you were a member? Or is it now like GamePass or Netflix where it's just a huge catalog of games that you can install any time? |

Currently playing Death Stranding DC. I picked up the PS4 base game for next to nothing, just upgraded it for 15 bucks. Its worth the 20 I paid. Amazing visuals. I expected it to be a slow grind long play game, and it delivers. haha. |
