I use ValvoMax and Votex drain valves. |
https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/24/busin...dog/index.html Coke is returning to Costco’s food courts. Pepsi is out This is a big win if this applies to Canada also. The Pepsi machines are horrendous in terms of the syrup to carbon ratio. Seems like the Pepsi pop dispenser is hardly maintained, ice machine is broken on most of the machines. |

Fucking hell............just when I gave up on Diet Coke. I'm into Canada Dry Zero Ginger Ale now. No caffeine. Still, Diet Coke 1001 times infinity better than Pepsi anything............. THERE IS A GOD!!!!! Now, let's have Amex Costco Card............ okay, maybe not, jbol. |
Hoooray !!! Pepsi and its related products are weak |
I watched one of those Youtube documentaries on how Pepsi lost the cola wars. Coke has been top dog for ages now, only makes sense. |

‘Cause it’s the Real Thing! That Coca Cola song back in the 70’s. I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing…… In perfect harmony………………. It’s the real thing. I died a little when Costco switched over to Pepsi. Hot Dog, lots of onions, Canadian Ketchup, and the Real Thing. Life’s good! |
Hope this rolls out to Canadian Costco locations too. I really dislike the Pepsico beverages... |
Oh, Gumby, you just burst my bubble with a bazooka. My fault. I read the news and got so excited, I didn’t read the other part. It has to happen here. Let us be the 51st state, gulololololol. |
had to return my dyson today, the dust cannister door wont open  literally no questions asked returns! |
See !!! see !!! Costco baby, that’s why you get the membership Oh I forgot to show you guys the trigger I bought from aliexpress. It’s great. It holds the vac on until you pop the lever. I just found this on AliExpress: C$4.19 | Vacuum Cleaner Switch Lock For Dyson V6/V7/V8/V10/V11/V12/V15 Replacement Trigger Lock Vacuums Spare Snap Retainer Parts https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrV9EVZ |
So, getting old sucks major monkey balls.............. eyesight going. I love doing dishes at the sink. Mindless work............. sort of like browsing RS, jbol. Anyway, I need more lighting above the sink. Pot light above the sink is no good. 9 ft ceiling doesn't help. So, was looking for an LED shop light. I did this in the two kitchens downstairs and it works. I looked at the ones at Home Depot. They're the same ones that I already have. Went to Costco last night and got me a decent one. Cheap at $39.00. I hooked it up and holy shit! 6000 lumens of light. Everything is so clear I could see gnats making out - not that I have an infestation of insects in the house. Anyway, I went on my usual Monday scouting trip to see what new things were on sale. What do I see? The same exact shop light is on sale. Got a few things and on the way out saw the return lineup. No thanks........... will go at end of the day at the Brighton Avenue location when ever I'm in the area to get price adjustment. As for the shop light itself, it's very nice. Three way lighting and has motion sensor and a pull chain. Normal AC plug. I have it on a WiFi capable plug. |
Anyone know if they carry the Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones in store? I remember I used to see them at Willingdon but didn’t last time I was in.. want to buy as a present for the wife so I don’t really want to order online |

Like I mentioned before. Call. They will tell you if they have it. If they don’t have it, locations in the area that do. They can tell you how much they have in stock, when it will be back in stock, if it has been deleted, etc. (604) 435-6695 for Willingdon location. Press 5, wait for next menu, then press 5 again. Will save you time. EDIT: “Listen carefully as our menu options have changed.” This works for a lot of Costco’s, but not all. Willingdon for sure uses the 5 and 5. |
when you can recall the teleprompt input numbers, now thats a real costco member |
I've been a fan for a long ass time. However, I stop at wearing apparel with their logo on it. That's a whole new level. I can't cross that line, gulolololol............ I've been a Costco member since they became Costco. Before then, it was called something else. twice, me thinks. Anyway, I was first to join. It was all over the news back then. On a side note........... remember Consumer Distributors and Aikenheads? Of all those old school businesses, I miss A&B Sound the most. Ah, just remembered.......... Price Club. I can't remember if it was at the now Walmart Grandview Hwy location or the Brighton Avenue location. NVM, FOUND IT............... https://costco-business-report-court...-timeline.html We were the first to get it in Canada. 1985....... also, hot dog cart!!! at $1.50........... with inflation, it would be...............told you guys I'm the first asian in the history of mankind to suck at math. It would be very high. Nuff said. |
Speaking of Willingdon Costco, I just came back home from there. It's on my way to and from the cemetery where my wife is laid to rest. That place has changed so much the last little while. It's not a happy place anymore. So many grumpy workers there, now. Even Leon (I call him Noel) doesn't have a smile on his face anymore. We still chat it up. I do, however, miss Emma. Man, she was like that one person who could light up a room. She's the fairly tall, curly brown haired, girl with hazel eyes that sparkled....... and the freckles, damn........... we'd joke around and laugh so hard that some customers would get bothered by it. I'd bug her whenever she got put on the promo station (haven't seen that anymore, either). Anyway, she works at another location. Brighton Avenue still looks like a happy place. |

My name is Leon, so every time I run into him I would joke with him about it. |
Yea wouldn’t doubt people at the Willingdon getting annoyed with the increased traffic, some customers are unbelievable in the shit they ask for |

He is after all, santa. |
Ah, that guy lol That tiny little woman that works the exit sometimes is kinda cute, she can’t even be 5 feet tall though lol |

I still see lots of familiar faces there particularly the ones who check receipts - I can't recall all their names but anytime I'm with my 5 year old they draw the smiley face on the receipt for her. I don't know that it's any less happy - I'd almost credit it to how much energy Emma brought to the place. Was there anyone else there that light the place up like her? |

As for the short caucasian girl, she's as cute as a button. |
There's Jose who checks receipts at the exit. Super friendly, always chats and give fist bumps with my kids. Sometimes draws 2 pictures on the receipt. They are super excited whenever they see him. I shop at the Poco location now. Nobody draws on the receipts. |
