mathematically eliminated from playoffs but the skate jersey remains undefeated. hughes breaks franchise record for dman points in a season. martin looking solid out there. it's a tough pill to swallow but at least the our young stars are doing well and the direction of this team is looking better.

even if Vegas won both its last games, they'd have 95 points with 44 wins, whereas Dallas already has 95 points with 45 wins before playing their last two games.

The first tie breaker is ROW (right out wins) basically wins in regulation and OT not shootout, so they would of tied in that tie breaker and i assume the next tie breaker was head to head record which Vegas may of had the edge so thats probably why Dallas didnt clinch yet
