I wish Pettersson would just shoot a normal shot sometimes. It seems like he feels he has to laser it every time, and his aim suffers, and it takes a tiny bit longer to get the shot off

I think Demko was tired from the night before and having to go in cold, the goals he let in were pretty weak

Its a mathematical thing and before this loss to the Senators, the canucks were in control. Because the easier road to playoffs was to catchup to the Kings who were 3rd in the pacific. Not the wildcard spots. It was simple, win all ur games(beat LA in regulation) and were in. Now...... we need abit of help.

well, on the plus side Spencer Martin has been called up on emergency basis. To be fair though, Halak made some good saves before getting hurt.

The real plus side of Halak getting hurt is right now he has a .903 goals against average, if he's done for the year that means he won't get the bonus since he needs a .905gaa lol

I read he needed several more saves too for a 250K bonus too so yesterday's game must've sucked.

Injury and no bonuses, ouch.

He was shaking out his blocker hand but no one even appeared to touch it so it’s bizarre… finished out the period but didn’t come back for the 2nd

Minnesota is playing for something (home ice adv in 1st round) so that one will be tough.

Flames can let some gas off the pedal as they have #1 in the Pacific locked up ... but they might be thinking ahead and going hard for higher seed for round 2 and on.
