Laffs try to get too cute with it, too many passes and the puck skips all over the place and they can never take them clean. All their goals were on shitty passes that they were able to get under control, and if anything the weird timing threw off the goalie

The puck bouncing around as if they're playing on a tennis court... Tampa was pretty bad too. These arenas make the NHL look like a D-tier pro league (and in Tampa the team is pretty much the 6th most popular in the city, despite being a 2 time champion)

Breath of fresh air as far as I am concerned. Might as well clean house as the last 8 years have been relatively disappointing (save a few bright spots like miller/petey/hughes/horvat/boeser/etc.)

Happens often when injuries plague a team. I haven’t followed canucks though so don’t know if that’s been an issue this season.
I can see a big problem plaguing the canucks though. Players don’t want to play in edmonton and Winnipeg often because the cities are such shitholes, same as buffalo etc.
players might not want to have to pay 7 million for houses to live here, and it really can affect getting talent when rebuilding a team. Funny how large of a role aqualuigi has played in that, and his team could suffer because of it. Once a team starts winning like Pittsburgh or something, that can be ignored, but it’s tough when players are going somewhere with a losing streak and they have those other factors at play that negatively affect quality of life.
