Congrats to Klimovich... got sent to AHL instead of QMJHL, that's a big step for him!
And....... possibly a really shit move by Benning... Gadjovich sent to AHL, but he is waiver eligible... probably going to lose him for nothing.

Did he have a choice? With Sutter out for the beginning of the season they need to fill Sutters spot.
With that in mind didn't Lind get waived as well rom the Kraken? Should've picked him right back up lol

I get he had a decent training camp and good first game but man, I doubt he even gets picked up by another team.

I didn’t like him last season and I didn’t expect anything from him at camp but he’s been a pretty decent surprise just my opinion… and he’s got some pedigree

A Vancouver-born NHL player is at the centre of an investigation which is looking into allegations he faked his proof of vaccine card. Evander Kane is not taking part in training camp with the San Jose Sharks.
Sportsnet 650 Host Dan Riccio says this investigation is the only situation of its kind in the league right now.
“What could happen, that’s still very much up for debate. One thing we do know is if it does turn out to be true, it doesn’t feel as though it would be grounds for the San Jose Sharks to void Evander Kane’s contract,” he said. | The fuck is wrong with this guy...
some people are just forever attracted to drama.

Gadjovich supposedly has a higher ceiling than Lind. It also was tough for Lind to crack an already deep Seattle team. That being said when Lind had his callup end of last year he didn't do much either.

Evander Kane busted for using a fake vaccination card... Can we just launch this guy into the sun now and be done with him in the NHL?

The Price is not right.
Carey Price will be away from the team indefinitely after voluntarily entering the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program. https://www.citynews1130.com/2021/10...ce-assistance/
Get well soon Carey.
His wife, Angela, took to Instagram to share some details Thursday, alluding that her husband has been struggling with his mental health.
“Part of the privilege of being in the position our family is in, is that we also get a public platform to show how there is and can be a path to light for anyone who is struggling,” Angela Price wrote.
“I will continue to show up for him and our kids and seek out the support that I may need on any given day. And it’s incredibly important to us to show our kids that asking for help, and letting yourself be supported by others is not just ok, but encouraged — anytime, and under any circumstance.”

Gadjovich being sent down is due to that fact he doesn't kill penalties. With Sutter and Motte out, the roster needs 2 "capable" PK guys.

I would rather have seen the team move on from Macewen than Gadj based on this preseason... Macewen hasn't done a damn thing.

Gadjovich being sent down is due to that fact he doesn't kill penalties. With Sutter and Motte out, the roster needs 2 "capable" PK guys. | I think that's inaccurate.. people were excited about Lind because he came on really hard in Utica... 44pts in 61 games 2 seasons ago... 8pts in 8 games last season.
I think arguably he was projecting as more NHL ready than Gadjovich, Gadj was being knocked for being too slow................. but this preseason Gadj was noticeably quicker. Lind was pretty invisible in all the actual NHL games he played last season... despite being on the top line... and he made some noticeable errors.
I think based on size Gadj probably has a better chance of sticking somewhere now that his footspeed has increased.

I think based on size Gadj probably has a better chance of sticking somewhere now that his footspeed has increased. | Scoring in AHL doesn't mean that'll translate to NHL calibre. These 2 guys are offensively gifted during JR's no doubt. But they literally need to stand out in NHL camp/preseason, or when given the chance in NHL games to actually produce. Lind came up for like 6 games last year and did nothing, but if he scored 3-4 goals that span or even 4-5 pts, that would cause a stir. You look at Boeser and look how he stood out in his audition. Same goes for Gadjovich , scoring a couple goals looking slightly faster doesn't mean he gets a spot. Compare him to Hoglander,, he literally left the coaching staff no choice but to put him the starting lineup on season opener. Sure Gadjovich should've at least make it to final cuts as he did put in the work over the summer, but 3rd pro season he should be making a huge splash not just minor improvements. That being said he was in tough to crack the top 9 spots and getting picked up to SJ may give him the chance he needs

I’m just surprised JB didn’t sell lind and gadjovich early like madden, dahlen, forsling for other players. JB seems to know if they’re going to pan out or not. Z

1 word, overhyped. Clearly none of them stood above and beyond the crowd to be noticed. Although the jury still out on Madden Quote:
