The NHL is reaching out to Robin Lehner to discuss the Vegas Golden Knights netminder's claims that teams knowingly circumvented medical protocol.
The league is attempting to arrange an interview with Lehner to address his allegations, deputy commissioner Bill Daly told ESPN's Emily Kaplan.
Lehner made various accusations on Twitter over two days, beginning Friday night with a criticism of the NHLPA for its handling of the Jack Eichel injury situation.
On Saturday, the goaltender shifted his focus to what he said is a widespread issue in the league involving prescription drugs. First, the 30-year-old threatened to reveal information every day until the NHL acknowledged his concerns.
tbh i had no idea who he was lol. had to go on youtube to watch his highlights after the trade was made.
Same, i've been so out from watching sports a ton since becoming a father that I had no idea wtf this guy even was to the point I thought we got completely hosed on the deal until after I found out more I was much more ok with it.

He's an awesome little firecracker, I watch AZ play twice in 2019/20 and he really stood playing high tempo hitting guys all over the place. He's going to be a huge fan favorite, just wait!!
OEL is so smooth and controls the pace so well. Absolutely no panic regardless of the pressure, and it looks like he’s playing at a different speed compared to other players. The game looks so easy for him. Effortless. Barring a major injury, he’s going to be good even late into his contract.
OEL is a norris Dman never getting recognition playing on a celler dweller team. If he played on a good team he would've been Norris finalist several times probably winning it
^ It's very possible .. and that's what everyone hopes but how would anyone know for sure until a change actually happened? The other outcome is equally likely ... let's revisit this after game 41 or at least after game 20.
A Vancouver-born NHL player is at the centre of an investigation which is looking into allegations he faked his proof of vaccine card. Evander Kane is not taking part in training camp with the San Jose Sharks.
Sportsnet 650 Host Dan Riccio says this investigation is the only situation of its kind in the league right now.
“What could happen, that’s still very much up for debate. One thing we do know is if it does turn out to be true, it doesn’t feel as though it would be grounds for the San Jose Sharks to void Evander Kane’s contract,” he said.
