Vegas the 8th team to make it to the finals multiple times in their first 6 seasons, so it's actually not that rare |

ugly, ugly 6-0 loss. yikes. |
Welp... back to not giving a shit about the playoffs again. I hope Florida wins though. Still not a fan of a young team winning the cup, while also just never being a bad team since inception. |
If anyone cares, musical chairs. Treliving is now GM of the Leafs. Dubas ... got a promotion and is Penguins President of Hockey Operations. Things change quickly: From this: To this: |
but what about his family? |
I mean, to be fair, Brendan Shanahan fucked him up the ass so he has a fire lit under him I think. That's gonna make you un-sad pretty fast when you're a competitive guy. I bet his wife experienced like 3 days of him moping around at home and told him to GTFO lol |
and he also said he didn't want to be a GM for another team. Guess what? He's not the GM he's president and now has the same power that Shanahan had.. What he said was just part of the game, he couldn't say what he really thought. |
|
^ I had exactly this scene in mind when I said that lol |

“I definitely don’t have it in me to go anywhere else. So, it'll either be here, or it'll be taking time to recalibrate, reflect on the seasons here,” Dubas said Monday. “But you won't see me next week pop up elsewhere. I can’t put them through that after this year.” So not exactly that he won't be GM for another team but that he couldn't put his family through this. But I hear previous poster, he felt shafted by Shanny and now they are both on the same level. It's his perogative, he's young, bright, and sought after. I'm sure he got a raise and a promotion as Prez. But I wonder if now the shoe is on the other foot, if he and his new GM will be in conflict and if Dubas the Prez will hold final veto rights on trades. |
Hope the Penguins are the team that gets to benefit from the yearly tradition of the Laffs being eliminated in humiliating fashion EleGiggle |
Pens are not in good shape going forward... all their core is super old and they don't have much on the young up and comer front. Also their goaltending is seriously bad. |

Why's there such a long break before the finals start? Feels like any momentum is gone. The road to the championship is supposed to be a grind. Feels like the season has ended already. |
Staal with the short handed goal! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Love the way the Panthers play. If this was at home they would have blown the roof off the building |
Fuck legit the one person that can send Maclean into a spin is Bettman (maybe Bieksa now) He’s a lawyer through and through. Gotta respect a guy who can hold a position like this this long and have remained so professional |
"Tic tac t-OH WHAT A STOP! HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN?!?!" Great call by Cuthbert, perfect for that level of save |
Aidin Hill getting whacked, finally one goes in It's cool that Duclair got it, after getting hurt on the blocked shot which led to the Vegas goal |

Panthers no longer look like The Team of Destiny |
On the radio a few hosts were talking about how Vegas was a better team top to bottom and overall a far superior team to the panthers I’ve watched a lot of the playoffs and never really got that feeling. Thought this series could be a game 7 coin flip but the way this is looking it could be a sweep |
