I only got to watch a bit of the second period and it did NOT look good. Other than Bob, the team looked pretty bad out there. lots of dumb penalties.

I was at game 2 right behind the net burrows scored on in OT and felt like it was a total slam dunk lol

haha same I was at Game 2 as well the only tickets I had for the final and I felt the same way. It was funny hearing Honey Badger on the radio the other day after game 2 listing the reasons why he thinks Vegas will win one of the reasons he stated was that they were up 2-0 totally made me laugh. Though to be fair that wasn't the only reason just one of many he listed but damn why you have to say that bro.

I remember watching Game 7 downtown in front of the large screens the city had set up.

When we realized the Canucks were going to lose, my buddies and I started heading over to Toyama that used to be on Seymour and Robson.

We ate some sushi drenched in tears of unfathomable sadness as we watched the Bruins win the cup, and I almost got smacked in the head by a flying bottle as I walked outside.

EDIT: Looking back.. I actually don't think the thought of losing ever occured to me even as we entered Game 7. I think that made the realization much worse.

I remember working at a bar on Granville. We boarded up the windows half way through the third. Tear gas filled the bar shortly after under the front door.

I remember being completely embarrassed, and it felt like I might never be able to root for the team again.. That lasted until covid lol. But the stink will stay with the team forever, especially if they ever go deep in the playoffs again.

I specifically remember one picture of a skinny nerd in a Canucks shirt and oversized jeans doing a Sparta scream outside a trashed store lol.. That is just the most perfect picture to represent Canucks fandom. I think someone here uses it as their avatar?
