I’ve never really been on team tank but Bedard and his love for the Canucks has changed my tune this year. As previously posted, I’ve only done the draft simulator once and the Canucks moved up to #1 so I refuse to try again.

Pray to the hockey gods, RS. Historically, the odds are against them but if the Canucks finally break the curse I’d throw a draft party.

This year's draft is said to be quite stacked. I think it would be in our favour to have it be this year so we can pick twice from a good pool of kids. Pipe dream would be for Canucks to somehow trade two picks and whatever else to land Bedard :lol

Maybe beating the Islanders ends up being the best outcome. Canucks still suck enough to end up 3rd last and winning lotto to get 1st overall pick for Bedard, and still get Islander's 13th pick.

Wouldn't that be incredible? Getting Bedard and one of the top d prospects in the draft as well.

FYI. It is an early start time of 9am PST for the road game in Detroit on Saturday.
