Miller could’ve/should’ve tried to poke the puck out along the boards in OT there.. instead he decides to keep it in our zone and the streak continues as a result.

I was hoping he’d be traded instead of being handed a fat contract. I’ve said it here before, I think his attitude is a problem and the recent reports of the dressing room being cliquey immediately had me believing he’s at the centre of it.

Don’t get me wrong, his passion to win is undeniable and that can be a great quality when mixed with an inclusive attitude, which I feel he’s lacking.

Miller’s Giveaways needs to become a thing at Rogers. Maybe that’ll make him think twice about making cute plays and start making the percentage ones.

Super disappointing start here but there’s 77 games to go..

Mikheyev had a couple shot attempts one shift and they were both absolute muffins. I’ll be paying more attention to that in future.

On the bright side, Petterson has been playing great and I love watching him shoot the puck. Too bad he hit the crossbar early on.

Horvat is having a good start as well. Those two are the true leaders IMO.

I'm not into rumors but I've always had that feeling about him too. He reminds me of Bertuzzi at the end of his Canucks run. Just a shit attitude and irresponsible play and kind of puts a damper on the whole team

Sure Bert had a bad attitude but it was projected toward the opposition and he protected his own. Ask Steve Moore :badpokerface: Maybe Nazzy and the other leaders kept him in check.. I don’t know.

Miller thinks he’s the shit and I’ve witnessed him berating/looking down on teammates. I don’t seem to recall Bert doing the same. That said, I’m getting old and perhaps forgot :lol

I don't know what's going on in the locker room and maybe we never truly will. Miller is resigned long term, it's done he's here to stay for a while. I'm sorry but maybe we need to trade Bo stat. Is he the issue, is it Miller, is it both, are they clashing? Who knows but where there's smoke there's fire and again Miller ain't going anywhere and yea season is only 5 games in but how much longer can we say oh wells it's only 6 games then 7 then 8 and so on. I was hopefully and I think everyone rightfully was that this year would be different and shit another terrible start this is getting ugly.

I have a hard time believing there’s all this conflict in the room and they would just sign miller and tell them to work it out between themselves. Especially with the new management group trying to be so “prudent” in their approach to turning the team around

Starting off 5 games on the road sucks. There were lots of injuries in preseason. They're scoring, that's not a problem. The D is a problem, but we had some combination of 3 of the regular 6 guys injured this whole time. QH's been playing 28 minutes. Miller's not the only forward who needs to be better.

I think they'll figure it out. Having 6 of the next 7 at home will be good for them. Get some practice time in.

Sekeres completely embarrassed himself with the continual bullshit narrative of a rift between Bo and JT last season. Hell, Bo even celebrated Miller's re-signing when it happened on his IG story.

Starting the season with a long road trip is absolute crap and this is now the second season in a row we've been subjected to it. All the reasons this sucks are listed above by bobbinka.

Also, lets not forget. Defense is more than just the 2 guys on the back end. There's 5 guys on the ice plus the goalies who all need to play better team defense. Unfortunately, neither of our goaltenders have been able to steal a game for us. They need to get into a groove and string some wins together, quickly.

The story came out of Chicago, where Dickinson was just traded.. :considered:

in a competitive environment with 20+ guys, there'll always be disagreements and conflicts. i'm sure what he said was true to him, but the guy who put the story out probably made it to be more than what it actually is.

Sekeres and price are literally grasping for stories these days. Sekeres writing for the daily garbage now… lol what a fall from grace. I never minded price but sekeres got what he deserved

Listening to Sekeres on 1040 was absolute torture. He's so full of himself it's gross. I always felt bad for Price that that's his radio partner.

edit: hearing Halford and Brough mock Sekeres is some of the funniest shit I've ever heard on the radio btw. That bit they did where they mimicked those phone sex commercials from the 90's using Sekeres' voice was fucking HILARIOUS! :joy:

Was looking at the Pacific division standings. At least the other teams in our division aren't doing that great either. Well hope we get our first win tonight.
